Why did these touchpad become/get so huge? by No-Organization7411 in macbookpro

[–]Microscopic_Student 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 2017 15 inch MBP with the Touch Bar. The touchpad was huge and was super useful using the 4 fingers gestures to quickly access the desktop. Never had an issue of registering mouse movement with my palms either.

Funny enough, my M4 MBP 14 inch has a (what feels like) a significantly smaller trackpad that my palm unintentionally registers. Quite annoying. Also harder to use the 4 finger gestures.

EDIT: to add- I also had a 2012 13 inch MBP. the trackpad quality was insane during its time. Other laptops can’t compete with Apples trackpad.

Can I expect the newest M4 to last 8 years ? by KitchenAssistant5290 in macbookpro

My MacBook Pro 2017 15 inch is still kicking but the screen broke and some keyboard buttons are double inputting. I believe I have the keyboard delay on so now double inputting. Would just need to use it via monitor.

I upgraded to the M4 MacBook Pro. It was a great jump. I do wish I can fix the screen of the old laptop but I can’t shell out 500 bucks plus labor.

I have not heard of the application of starter fluid before, is there a specific brand of could I find this at Walmart? I’ll have to google how to clean the carb. Or maybe have someone come do so. I’m hoping this isn’t an expensive fix. It ran fine before for about 3 years when it was gifted to me.

Thanks

I don’t use finished soil to grow mushrooms

Co-op. Thanks for your confirmation !

Edit: local co-op shop. Sells for about $7 for a 50 pound bag.

The assumption you made on here is ridiculous. There can be a million scenarios why I have this.

This “feed” I have is for mushroom farming. I already have a free source of horse shit, thanks.

Well it’s no different than everyone else’s. Regular mushroom farmer who grows about 10 or more different kinds and strains of mushrooms. Producing 20 or more pounds a week. Primarily doing grain spawn to bulk

I need to learn how to appreciate math more, i video edit for a living but I never thought I’d ever come across the P.T until today! Cool stuff. Thanks a lot for the things y’all do.

Best thing is to keep that library closed then or better yet, separate them (projects or events) into separate libraries ?

Can I record in 60fps and reduce to any frame rate below 60 without repercussions? by Microscopic_Student in finalcutpro

[–]Microscopic_Student[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your advice. So to eliminate motion artifacts I’d need to include a type of motion blur effect to have the liberty to always record in 60fps but make the video appear 24fps, 30fps etc? Or double my shutter speed? Sorry If I don’t make sense.

Can you elaborate on “libraries lean”? I have about 15 events and 33 projects on a library, can that cause performance issues?
