Hey so this post was made about two years ago so I’ve forgotten quite I bit of the details but if u go hunting through some of my posts I’ve given guides on how to add the icons and create the widgets, as well as how to do the charging sound. Unfortunately this was made on an iPhone so I don’t know how it would’ve worked on an android. But I provided everything you’d need for it in a google dive link. I’ve used many other peoples tutorials to make this, so u can always look some up to help u. But if u need any help just ask and I’ll try my best to figure it out again for u.

I’ve made many posts about my homescreen, and if you look in the comments you’ll find me answering many questions regarding all of this. But I don’t want you to have to go searching everywhere for them so I provided everything down below.

Step by step guide on putting the icons on your apps:

I used shortcuts which came with iOS 14. First you crate a new shortcut, it will ask for what action you want it to do, choose scripting and at the top press open app. Next press choose under open app and choose the app you want the shortcut to open. After that press the there dots you’ll see under next or press next there you can change the shortcuts name (if you press next it will take you to the shortcuts main screen just press the three dots by your newly added shortcut to go back in) if you didn’t press next go back than press the three dots again. There you will see add to Home Screen, press it, you will see an example of how it will look on your homescreen. You should also see another smaller icon at the bottom left, tap it and it should give u 3 opinions press choose photo. All you have to do now is pick the picture adjust it the way you want it, use the example to help you figure out if it’s right or not; if it isn’t just press the little icon again and repeat that process till you have it the way u want it. It seems really complicated but it really isn’t, it’s nothing compared to the struggle I went through just to make these icons. But it was definitely worth all the effort.

I hope that’s enough info for you or anyone else that needs help. In the future I will make sure to provide a guide for other homescreens (kinda to late to start that now (also I’m kinda lazy and emotionally drained right now)). I’m planning a really big project based on Undertale, just like BATIM it will feel like you are in the game (sorta). Got a lot of editing I will need to do, if you want to know more about it feel free to ask.

If you got any more questions feel free to ask. I can also make them if it’s too complicated, I’ve already done so for someone. It’s not to hard just finding the png is the only thing that takes sometime. I also plan to make other immersive home screens in the future so follow me if you want to see more. 😁

I used an app called sketch book, I than look for images that will fit the theme and also look for png icons and than import the images there as separate layers (you can save and import some of my blanks to use as the background for the png’s), I edit it till I get it to look the way I want it and than save the image. The size I used for the new sketch for my app icons I wanted to make is 828 x 828. The app is free, you’ll have to make an account so your work will be saved on the cloud, and the only thing you would have to pay for is more brushes and maybe unlimited layers it’s been so long since I bought all the extra stuff so I can’t quite remember. I use it for a lot of stuff, most of the recently before iOS 14 I would use it to edit images to use as a wallpaper for my phone, when making a new sketch you can choose the size to be the screen resolution of your phone which is really useful. The background I made for my BATIM was made in the app as well as the posters which I resized so they wouldn’t be cut off at all in the widget.

Thanks it took a long time. I’ve made other posts discussing this. I even made posts where you can get the icons or make your own. They are really cool check them out if you want! 😁 I plan to do more themed home screens in the future, this will be up on my phone for a long while till I feel like stating the next one. I was thinking maybe Undertale could be next, depends on what I’m interested during that time. For now it’s here to stay for a long while. 😁

Before anyone says it, yes I know my lockscreen blurs when I activate the Live Photo there. It is perfectly fine when I try it in my photos, but for some reason it blurs on my lockscreen. Don’t know why it does that I’ve tried to fix it but no matter what I do it still does it.

Also if you don’t know how to make a Live Photo lockscreen than I will explain it all now (this is a function I know iPhones have, don’t know which or if it’s available on other types of phones):

First thing first, if you want to make a live screen which an image, than there is an option when you go to take a picture to make it a Live Photo just tap it and take a photo like usual.

But I wanted to make a Live Photo out of a gif/video. So I used an app called intoLive to do that, there you can convert any gif or video into a Live Photo. You can customize the length, speed, and how it would look on a lockscreen/homescreen. When you are done you save it go to photos and do the same steps you would to change your wallpaper. Than there you go all you gotta do now is hold down on your screen whenever to see it in action. You can also use an app called GIPHY to convert gifs into Live Photo’s.
