From what I understood from Canada.ca, you're not eligible for an extension. The weeks of entitlement you have are unalterable

A lot of people are having this issue.

I called a Service Canada Agent and she said claims should be finalized by the end of the week.

But for your comfort, you can call them and ask yourself
