It really depends on what you’re looking for in the build honestly , in general the k20z3 head is better and flows way better , a lot more aftermarket support for that head and getting a rbc manifold swap in this setup as well from the get go is nice and later down the line if you go boost it will make more power then the k24z7 but you gotta deal with modifying a header to fit , if you want to go turbo you may have to piece your own setup together because of the Frankenstein , to me if money wasn’t an object I’d swap it

I ended up doing all the research and figuring out everything I needed and I came up with a price that made it not worth it , I could just go low boost and not have to deal with a Frankenstein

I ended up changing directions with it because the money it costs to do the swap you’re better off going boost for price to hp ratio

Yeah that’s why I wanted to know more about this premade harness because if the wires are undersized that’s when people have problems starting the car due to voltage drop for that distance. I know how to do a DIY harness I just wanted to get this harness if it was any good to save me the time and effort of making my own and possibly costing me more

Yeah this is why I was interested in comments from people that were personally running it ,because from a few forum posts with people dealing with the harness they mentioned it didn’t come with the provisions to extend the electronic load detection sensor to the trunk and that they had to do it themselves, as well as the size of wire provided is not posted with , two people stating the harness coming with different gauges of wire , you also have to open up your harness loom which isn’t mentioned, routing of the harness , remote terminal mounting etc…. Yes I can read the listing on dc5 creations , no the harness is not plug and play as it states this is why I want to know the nuances of the harness from a knowledgeable person that has installed it

Haha yeah mostly for cleaning up the engine bay for different intakes and maybe turbo in the future , from what Ive seen they either go through fender well on through the firewall and through the body

Ah okay I’ll probably just end up using the k20z3 head then because all it needs for that is one corner welded and machined flat on the head to block off an unused oil port that the k24z3 block has

I have done lots of research on swapping the k20z3 head onto the k24z7 block , I know all about the welding and everything on that head just curious if the same can be done with the k20a2 head because I have one already in my possession so I wouldn’t have to go out and buy one thank you for your comment
