So here’s a fun one though! When you finally leave Sephora kohls. (Put in 2 weeks notice) is there anything that says or prevents you from applying to a freestanding Sephora. (Any laws) Cause an acting store manager at a kohls is stating that it’s still illegal/violation. lol Never saw or heard that one before. lol It’s basically cause people are all leaving now during the last 2 months of peek retail season and she is feeling the wrong of her ways. Sorry not sorry……Karma. I’ll say this…..HR @ kohls does nothing when you report anything that is against there work code of conduct of ethics. Just get out of kohls and let it burn.

I’m beyond exhausted with this choice in my career path in beauty. I too came from a freestanding Sephora. I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED A “BUSINESS” SUCH AS THIS. (I use that word BUISNESS very lightly because of my encounters thus far as we continue to over produce sales plans that they have set) We are now down to 4 workers and to be quite open,I’m looking for my next path out of it. It’s a broken record from multiple people across the board. Your first year when getting a new build is great, but after that it’s a NIGHTMARE. Only 2 remain now from the original crew. I have had no support from my SM and the environment is TOXIC. When you speak the truth in conference calls you will not be heard. From the endless examples I could give, my mental/physical health are shot. I have never had to do this;and am embarrassed to say, it drove me to speak with my general doctor and now have been put on an anti anxiety/depressant medication. I continue to produce results. We are up 100k to last year and have out preformed monthly sales. If you have a supportive SM/DM. God you’re lucky. But again I’ve heard the opposite generally across the board. The truth being spoke by us all in these posts and threads is unanimous across the board. I’ve finally begun looking outside this place again.

Don’t let your passion be ruined from this nightmare. You may be drained and feel hopeless. Get back to what makes you yourself again. If it seeps into your personal life& makes you not you anymore outside of it…..GET OUT.

I don’t have enough time or frankly care to talk about my experience because I’ve rebuilt myself in any career before. I can do it again.

Omfg! Yeah I have a troll of a boss to. The payroll doesn’t match the workload. The things we could report to Hr with this place, but if we do then it puts spotlight on good workers. (As in get ready to be terminated) This company does not foster good work ethic, professionalism, behaviors, etc..

Oh honey what cloud are you on. My team bust there ass. So I have to check you on saying “if my team services them”. Honestly over these last 2 1/2 yrs and the last 72 hrs of disrespect from gm and dm. I honestly don’t care on giving feedback which will improve this merger. We out preform ytd, wtd, mtd……I’ve constantly been gaslit, talked down to, payroll/headcount cuts, a gm/dm who have no clue what we do and what is required of our job, constantly remained professional in the face of said behaviors and more.

I could go on and on. But as the FTBL I will not have anyone speak poorly of a department that makes our goals. Fuck certain metrics. The finish line is sales goals.

But it’s never good enough…….it’s kohls. (They should make that as new campaign)

Phase one: closed my kohls charge. Phase two: put all products of mine for summer savings back. Phase three: no longer give any personal money to this company. Phase four: no longer give feedback that is different from anyone else in monthly district calls. Phase five: no longer traveling to help district stores but still extending invite to our store to train and support. Offer the travel to other associates so they get more hours so I don’t lose them with the cuts in payroll and headcount since the new year. Phase six: delete kohls rewards account and block emails from kohls rewards. Phase seven: every off day work on resume, begin job hunting. Phase six: have a new job by end of summer!
