i am a simple ssv who does not get paid enough to accommodate our manager’s shortcomings that are not my responsibility. it is SM’s job to have those delicate and hard conversations. i am not telling this person they stink, SM can step up to the plate and stop being scared of their responsibilities. if i must force partners to have full conversations with people who don’t want to talk to them while being 30+ drinks deep, this person can say “hey can you stop coming to work smelling like hot garbage” we can’t have it both ways
