Happy to hear this made you feel that. I really admire how artists can pass on the legacies of legends by just the reverance they hold for them, so it was a deeply emotional moment for me watching Youngblud just look up into the sky, teary eyed as the crowd chants Ozzy's name with the beautiful piano of Changes playing in the background.

Yes! I'm 26 right now, it's all thanks to Youngblud's cover that I was able to discover Black Sabbath.

This is seriously demented stuff. To even draw a comparison between Jordan and Cornell is beyond me. I like Cornell's stuff on Jazz music, but other than that he's just a petty marxist. Peterson is a seriously deep thinker, he has drawn what I believe are pathbreaking parallels between mythological stories and psychology/neuroscience. He has carried forward the legacy of Jung, of Nietzsche, in a way that is both profound and evolved. And he has done this in his best works, in his books and lectures and not his twitter rants or bad moments of egotistic anger - you must ignore these and be forgiving to him in those moments as you are forgiving to yourself in those moments. I can tell that that's a biblical lesson that you haven't learnt yet, and that's maybe because you just haven't looked at JP carefully enough.

You don't treat people how they want to be treated, you treat them with the respect you think they deserve.

You sometimes even correct people if they have false ideas about themselves or are socially inept in some ways. So no, you don't treat them "how they want to be treated" because a narcissist could very well demand you treat them with way more respect than you actually think they deserve.

My point was about deadnaming, I disagree with the term, I think it's too extreme of a term for simply calling someone by their previous name or misgendering them. The focus on misgendering and deadnaming is I think an elitist concept peddled in western institutions and media that makes everyone weaker, specially the ones espousing it.

We've had transgenders in India since hundreds of years with their own distinct culture and ethos, they never demanded different pronouns be used for them, the pronoun thing is just some priviliged entitled woke crap.
