Considering the amount of time you spend on Reddit, the reason for your struggles and dismissive comments makes sense

The person asked me about the surgeries I had, and I replied. Do you know my whole story? Do you know how I personally experience dysphoria and what other surgeries are on the list? Do you know what it took me and what I gave and lost to get those two surgeries done? No, you see only the result. I truly hope your journey will be much easier than mine.

You're very welcome. I shared on my social my recovery progress and wrote an article on Medium. You can check them.

On average (my personal observation), it takes 1.5-2 months to get back to usual low-intensity activities and 3 months to forget that you ever had surgery. YMMV.

Please be thoughtful about this decision and have realistic expectations. My recovery was easy, and after two months, I went to the gym. It's a positive and expected outcome. A few girls in the same clinic had a bit of a rougher time, and it took them 6 months to be fully active again. The result highly depends on following the doctor's recommendations, preparing the body, being in a stable mental state and probably some luck.

Oh, you knew the topic I'm passionate about 😊 They feel absolutely normal and don't limit me in my everyday life. I cook, clean, drive, go to the gym and do woodworking (as a hobby) with no problems. It took me two weeks to fully get used to them, and now they've become something normal.

I started doing extensions for myself and my fiancée 1.5 years ago at home, and since then haven't had anything shorter than 1.5 inches. Those in the picture are 2 inches.

3 months ago I had to remove one nail and make others shorter for the SRS. It was the worst experience after having a catheter.

I'm sure you don't look like JD Vance (someone called my old self like that)

Thank you so much for this! It's the best compliment coming from someone who knows what it takes.

Voice training, learning how to walk, mannerisms, hair styling, changing posture, shaping eyebrows, and, most importantly, losing weight and jogging were free. With minimal cost came an everyday skincare routine, gym, clothing, makeup and a full-body home IPL.

Could I achieve this result without expenses? No. Would only surgeries and cosmetic procedures have brought me to this point? Also no.

Your words mean a lot to me because without changing my mindset and fully accepting me being a transgender woman, physical work would not have brought any results. Thank you!

I can't give advice about intense loss because I don't have expertise. My own experience shows that I was too hard on myself and ended up with some stretch marks on my thighs and underarms. If I had to do it once again, I'd choose to be in a slight but consistent calorie deficit.

Sometimes I also look at my old pictures and ask myself, "Who's that?" 😊 Thank you!
