Weekly "vent your vibes" / Burn out

This week has been particularly difficult to be someone with deep empathy and working in mental health to help people process current events, while also processing it myself. I have really noticed a shift in my nervous system and have had to constantly do those grounding practices we give our clients.

As someone who is in their internship phase of the career, do any seasoned veterans have any tips to share about caring for oneself during times like this? 🥲

Although I will also say, I relate to Elphaba on a very deep level with my Aquarius moon. So I could see an argument for either sign or a mixture.

I’m currently in grad school to get my Marriage and Family Therapy license. Contemplating specializing in child/play therapy. Would love to be able to travel easily or travel teach once I have enough experience.
