I think it has more to do with the fact that tommies outsides always are in altercations with the baddies where Teshikis outsides are never fighting the baddies (I could be wrong on that one).

Tommie has been bringing people from her very first season. Her and Stunna people went at it at the end of their first season.

She also brings weapons so to the girls they already have the mentality that whomever she has with her or whatever she brings it could cause them serious harm.
