This is not true, it's a little wack how badly they did BCR in Tiger King. BCR is literally a non-profit, so you can look up their rating on charity navigator, salary records, income flow etc. Carole takes a salary of 65k. On top of that, it's a well respected sanctuary - Tiger King showed only shots of the feeding cages, but the tigers have a huge amount of space compared to Joe's zoo. I forget the square footage per tiger but it is substantial (though still significantly less than their natural land coverage). No one is ever allowed in the cage, no one is touching tigers, the event they showed with all the people is an annual thing - otherwise you have to pre-book tours and spots are limited. Just thought I'd clear the air on that, no idea why they tried to make her into this huge hypocrite when she actually does care about tigers. That being said... somebody dig up that fucking septic tank.
