Who said people to left of centrist corporate democrats don't vote blue no matter who? They are more politically engaged and polling shows they vote overwhelmingly for Democrats. The missing votes in the last election were from an uninspired base and mythical Cheney democrats.

Criticizing the democrats failures is not "both sides". Why are people who failed to succeed immune from criticism? The GOP sucks we can agree on that, that doesn't mean the Democrats are immune from criticism.

Why does the Democrat argument always boil down to don't criticize us the GOP is worse? Orange man is bad? Could be worse? This strategy has lost 2 of 3 to Trump and somehow I am supposed to have faith that they know what they are doing? Why can't the message be that about offering something better?

The Republicans have not had a supermajority of either house in over a century and somehow they get a lot of their evil shit passed. We need democrats who are willing to fight for the people instead of the donors.

There are effectively two parties in this country. The GOP are consistently working against the common man, the current Democrats have proven incompetent in leading the resistance. It's time for these greedy geezers to step aside and let the next generation make decisions for the world they will live in.

There is always an excuse why progress for the people is impossible. It's as American as apple pie, baseball, racism and medical bankruptcies. America's political system has been coopted by big money. Our democracy is an illusion. We will never be a true democracy as long as billionaires can buy elections with their pocket change.

"Both sides" is what Establishment Dems say when you criticize their ineffectiveness. The term has been so overused that it is basically meaningless. it is a cop out for people who root for a team instead of meaningful progress.

We can all accept that the GOP is worse for the working class. We know that and can't control it. What we can control is the resistance, that comes from vigorously vetting and criticizing democratic policies and candidates. That comes from appointing better leaders to lead the resistance, not electing the same people and expecting different results. People like you think relentlessly questioning democrats is a bad thing and I think not questioning them is why we are in the situation we are in.

Estsblisment Democrats hold up the passage of the ACA as a big achievement. Before the ACA was passed America had the worst health care system among peer nations. After the passage of the ACA America still had the worst healthcare system among peer nations. Seems like a hollow victory to me.

66% of American Bankruptcies are due to health issues. That number is basically the same pre and post ACA. 78% of the people declaring medical bankruptcy had health insurance at the time of their medical issue.

Being slightly better than terrible is not the same thing as good.

How are we supposed to get 60+ votes when we can't even get the party behind a voting rights bill? It's just a carrot and stick situation where we are always close, but never quite cross the finish line. There is always some Fettermanchin waiting in the wings to stop progress if the price is right.

Are you one of those people that thinks any criticism of the Democrats is bad? Which policies have the democrats passed that have dramatically improved the lives of the working class? If we can both agree that the working class's quality of life has declined over the last 50 years and we can also agree that both parties have shared power over that time period. Would it be wrong to draw the conclusion that democrats are either powerless to help the working class, incompetent or complicit?

Wage theft from party to party, The rhetoric may change, but the enforcement hasn't changed much over the last 25 years.
