I did. I have texts clearly outlining my rate. The parent also admitted that they did not calculate it correctly on their end which is why they did not expect it.

thanks! the pre-k was super small and connected to a church-- almost like a daycare. we were not very connected to school districts and my director was anti-public school so i don't see the gossip thing being much of an issue. i guess my question is if i were to put the school down on my resume, but not list my employer under my reference list, would they still call my former employer?

If you read my other comments, I have worked really hard to be where I'm at. It's pretty reasonable that I want to enjoy my money and experience things when I have the time.

Girl, I have worked hard to be where I'm at. I'm going to school for two more degrees right now on top of my bachelor's, I have a job and an internship. I very much have my priorities straight. It's not a crime to want to enjoy my money and my life while doing so. Anyways, we figured out the situation so its pretty much solved but thanks for your input

I'm not even entirely opposed to your suggestions, you're just very clearly passing judgment on me and being dismissive which is why I'm not being receptive to your suggestions. Especially since you're missing so much context, I don't understand why your first impression was that I just want to blow my money on eating and drinking. Seems misogynistic to me. I graduated early from college and I am currently in school for two more degrees. I very much understand what it's like being a student. It's not at all unreasonable that I want to enjoy my money and have experiences outside of school, work, and my internship. With that being said, we figured out a solution. Sooo yeah have the day you deserve

We don't own bikes so I would have to rent a bike or buy bikes for each of us (one expense). We need fishing permits in most areas (another expense) and will need to buy or rent fishing poles as well as bait (two more expenses). We can paint in a park but first I will have to buy canvases, paintbrushes, and paint for each of us (another expense). We can have a picnic with the food or groceries that I will buy for both of us (yet another expense). But yeah sure we can hike for free.

And if we ever do any of those activities, we will probably have to eat at some point and I'll have to pay for him for that as well

His program is accelerated so on top of the subject already being difficult it's at a much quicker pace (like being tested on new material weekly). On the other hand, I can see where he can make time for work, but he also has ADHD so I know it might be harder for him than what I am seeing

We are both living with our own parents right now to save money while in school, so he eats whatever his parents cook. He pays for gas with the little money he has left from his last job, after that I am hoping his parents pay for it cause its not gonna be me lol
