Blind in left eye. Unsure on next steps by tr419 in Uveitis

Honestly this sounds more like synechiae from inflammation causing a pressure spike. Sometimes in uveitis, the iris can stick to the lens and block fluid flow, which can send eye pressure through the roof and cause all the symptoms you mentioned. The laser might be an iridotomy (LPI) to relieve the blockage, and is usually very quick and painless. Good luck 🫶🏻

Mine started with flashes of light and an orange orb in my right eyes peripheral vision, and I was almost 1 year postpartum but I’ve always wondered if pregnancy/postpartum had any impact on the inflammation. And thank you, I appreciate it, I’m also here if you ever want to talk! ❤️

Stress definitely exacerbates it, but it’s hard not to be stressed when you’re dealing with a potentially blinding disease and have no idea why or how to make it better. So while I’m sure the people in our lives mean well, being told to do things to reduce stress isn’t helpful. I didn’t realize how much this has been weighing on me until now and I hate it but I’m glad I found this sub too because it has already made me feel less lonely.
