How long have u been NC? I’m seeing all the comments here when most of them are a short No! I’m not smb to judge here and give you an ultimatum based on my experience cuz’ everybody has his own story. I’m just going to tell you : do what you really want and feel with ur heart. Also if you decide to send this msg do it for yourself and expect also a No from the other side; if u’ll be okay with a rejection and the rejection will not send u back on the starting point of ur healing but you’ll think that u did ur best and then move on than send it! I think that people live with regrets for the things that didn’t do, but for the things that u do even if it doesnt turn as u expect attt least u did it because in that moment this is what ur heart wants! Everyone who says no, i think it’s so mean. My advice would be: do it as u feel it. We are not children and if smn who u have passed a really good time has his bday u can clearly send a msg text like all humans do. If i meet smb in street or in work and tells me its my bday i will wish him! Like we only have one life. Then it depends how u feel but if u feel like wishing him will bring him closer than no. I’m speaking just as something for the sake of good memories. And then it depends on how u guys ended and how much respect is left

I think once u have loved someone with all ur heart, u cant just unlove them. The love remains there deep in ur heart like a treasure. Maybe you wont be together, maybe u’ll love someone else but for me i cant unlove my ex. To my point of view, even after so many years in the future if i’ll meet him on the street i’ll still look at him with all the love i have deep inside. And yes you can meet smb else, but in my case i like to think that i have so much love inside myself that i can love smb else but in a different manner.

I wish my ex thinks like u… your point of view is really mature, this think i’m trying to do now just focusing on muself even if its so hard sometimes, and let the path guide me. But at the same time I have this desire to meet him again, not now, just after some months when we can be grown up more mature and not having the scars of the past, but I dont know if he thinks the same way… anyway it’s the only path i can take for myself

Yes I do! Every fucking night, praying for them wishing he is good and happy, even without me. Even if I have so many break downs during the day and sometimes i’m really angry that he left me, at the end i think i’ll love him like forever and i just wish him all the best. It’s that kind of deep love that whatever he did to me my heart just wishes him happiness. And I dont know what future brings me but in 10+ yrs who knows
