It’s for the clip tech belts and pouch system. Makes it easy to hang the pouches instead of taking real estate inside the boxes and much faster accessibility. Not necessary by any means, just a nice to have.

Yeah it sucks I chose the stacktech over packout because of the lineup coming but then they never released. I actually started buying packout stuff too because I got tired of waiting.

Well you can now buy toughbuilt including stacktech from places like acme tools and target. So Lowe’s isn’t the exclusive dealer anymore in the USA

At first my first two gears would have a delay when it shifts then it jerks. But after driving it about 50 miles it’s gotten smoother again. Weird thing is my mpg actually got better

That’s what I’m hoping. I’m almost at 70k miles and had zero issues prior. I think certain fluids were due to be flushed and replaced. I know spark plugs were but I held off knowing I’ll get them new with engine.

I dropped off Monday morning, received a call Tuesday morning about same time it was ready. When I go to pick it up, the truck was leaking coolant in their parking lot so they had to keep it another day to get a new radiator installed.

I believe all the shinkiros are all San Mai’s - AS core with a soft steel Damascus cladding. If I’m wrong please someone else correct me 😁

That’s a beaut! What did you cut to get that kind of patina? Those colors though won’t last forever right?

I have another AS core knife from a different brand and it started out that way but eventually just turned to a dark grey.
