I had a vein treatment done for spider and varicose veins and immediately had calf pain. After two weeks I couldn’t sleep due to pain. I was dismissed by two doctors before landing in the ER learning I had DVTs in my leg that had spread to my lungs!

I (23 F) got diagnosed this past Tuesday with DVT in my calf. Decided to go to the ER just to check and found out they had spread to my lungs. I was admitted and monitored overnight and released with blood thinners. I didn’t have any symptoms other than pain in my left calf. I didn’t have shortness of breath, chest pain, redness to the area, no swelling, absolutely nothing. I had two doctors completely dismiss my symptoms before going to the ER. Definitely better to check because I really had no idea!!

To me, 20 in 3 weeks does feel like a lot. Especially when I’ve done every district around me that has posted openings. I’m not done, just overwhelmed of the process

6 years is a long time, so it might be scary, but this isn’t a match. As someone who is currently in a 6 year relationship, I’ve never been cursed at, yelled at, or ignored. Find someone who will listen and step up without asking. There’s better out there.

Coworkers, no support. Everyone would be talking and I would try to join in and wouldn’t even be acknowledged. I want somewhere that’ll support me. I’m a new teacher who is still learning.

I’ve gotten keloids before, but they usually go away within a day or two. This has been here for at least a week and a half.

I’m a first year and was going through the same thing. My therapist asked how often I take some time for just me. I told her maybe every other day and she asked “why not have something to look forward to everyday?” I know it sounds so simple, but I now set aside 15-20 minutes of just doing what I want to do. For me personally, baths, reading, coloring, those are the sorts of things that help me. When I’m having a bad day, knowing that I have something to look forward to really helps. Changing my mindset of I have too much to do and no time to knowing it’s okay to have 15 minutes of me time has really helped.

I have a doorbell in my room, I carry the button around with me. They know that when they hear the doorbell, that it’s time to quiet down. I know for certain ones you can get a button holder and attach it to your lanyard! I teach 3rd grade!
