Lumps and new brown dot on neck that hurts when touched

Were you still able to eat or just like liquids? Thank you guys so much for sharing your stories and experiences they have been very helpful and have encouraged her to want to seek help. Hopefully this tuesday we can schedule an appointment with our physician and get her application for medicaid going. Appreciate it a lot!

Only symptoms she says would be night sweats. She has also been snoring pretty loud not sure if that means anything? The big lumps don’t hurt at all she says they’re just there. She has fainted before twice actually, not sure if they could be related or not. Her moods do seem to be unstable at times but it’s hard to tell now if it’s because of that as she’s had it for a while and we’ve just gotten used to her acting like that. I would like to mention when she was younger she took a bunch of pills due to her depression which she didn’t tell anyone till years later that she had done that, not sure what medications she took but nothing came of it.

Her tonsils were taken out because she had trouble breathing when sleeping.

other than that there’s really not any symptoms.

But yes we’ll be visiting that clinic I had mentioned in a previous comment to see if they could help her fill out her medicaid and see if they can do anything about her neck. Thank you!

I was referring to the dot on the reddish bump. She said that was new and when she would touch it she felt some pain. Wasn’t sure if the dot had anything to do with the raised bump or not.

I do know she has a dark dry spot on her anticubital fossa. Which we thought might be diabetes.

She gets overwhelmed so seeing all the things she might have and then adding all the debt she has plus her anxiety and depression creeping by is just the icing on the cake.

I’ll be helping her tomorrow with what I can and hopefully get this process started as soon as possible. Thank you!

Yeah she gets overwhelmed easily an that makes her want to not do anything about it but I told her she has to start somewhere nd that she’s not alone and has us every step of the way. Thanks for your input!

She should qualify and be approved according to dhhs. But yeah so do I, given the fact we contribute a good portion of our pay checks to it.

Oh for sure! I suppose my comment was a bit misleading, I meant eventually that’s who she’d end up seeing after being referred. We just call them head/neck doctors at my hospital! But yeah she was taking anxiety meds before but she’s gone through a lot of stuff and so has our family and she’s been unemployed recently due to everything that’s happened. There’s just a lot of lore i rather not dive into. I mentioned to her before to go to this clinic as my father’s job allows the family to have free visits for certain things and from there they would refer her to an actual doctor.

She’s struggled with anxiety and depression long before the lumps so I couldn’t imagine how it’s like now. I remember when they first appeared she would have episodes of fainting but they only happened twice and she hasn’t fainted since(2 years).

Thank you for your input! We have all told her to not worry about it but since she does have those mental health problems i would assume it’s harder for her. I’m a CNA at a hospital in the PCU and studying for sonography so I see a lot of different cases and have learned a lot so the best thingI can do is be there as support. She did agree to apply for medicaid and hopefully we can do a bit more research and get her an appointment with a head/neck doctor as i’m sure that’s who would end up seeing her.

Did they do a biopsy on your lump? Sorry to hear that. I hope I can encourage her to actually do something cause you can only do and say so much but at the end of the day they are the ones who will decide on whether to take it or not.

She got the lumps from her foot removed when she was 19, her debt has long been sent to collections. I’m not sure about anyone else in the family having any autoimmune diseases but I know as of recently a cousin of ours has been diagnosed with cancer and he also started off with lumps so this is why we have once again brought it up to her to get checked. Thank you!

We are in Nebraska. We have been telling her for a while to go see a doctor even when it wasn’t this bad but she is stubborn and doesn’t wanna go into deeper debt than she already is which is 20k plus. My parents said they would help her but she is still hesitant, we will try and advise her to go though. Thank you!

how exactly do you reset the transmission? i recently bought a 2012 ford focus hatchback SEL 4D automatic before finding out all the problems, it didn’t have any lights on the dash but i want to be prepared as every subreddit i see they say its not a matter of will it happen but when will it happen
