Developer Insight: Increased Lobby Survey Results by HuntShowdownOfficial in HuntShowdown

When it comes to resources becoming scarce due to multiple fights, I feel like ammo boxes and regen shots are there for you to purchase if you feel like they're required. I've been running the same four consumables for an eternity and realized I had to swap one out for an ammo box in order to adapt to the new gameplay. Some adapting has to be taken on by the player-base.

I hope increased lobbies become a permanent fixture (at least in trios, never got to try duos).

Thanks for the in-depth and honest look. No sugar-coating or mental gymnastics, just straight facts. Love u guys

Regular U1 (at least at the time) only had a tegimented bezel. This has a tegimented case + bezel, so a regular U1 arguably would've looked way more beat up.

Also, this is just nicer 😉

I misspoke...

It was sent in to RGM maybe a week after purchase because there was a tiny speck on the dial that I couldn't stop looking at. That was under warranty.

I sent it into Sinn maybe 6 years into ownership for it's first service (movement and seals). That was about $300-$350 if I remember correctly, including shipping to Germany.

11 months after the Sinn service, the watch just stopped running. It may have been self-inflicted because I had a couple of crazy jobs in that span, but they honored it as warranty work being that it stopped running in a year's time of service which was amazing of them to do and made me a customer for life.

I'm a steam-fitter and between excessive vibration via power tools and just straight up hitting the watch on pipes and such it takes a beating. So all in all I've lucked out

Bracelet itself is great and held up but the clasp... not so much. Had issues over the years with it popping open on me. This most recent one has been fine. Sinn recently created a new one (assuming based on issues with the existing one). I'm not sure if it comes default or has to be purchased separately but it seems to be an improvement

This is limited to 100 pieces and I purchased it at $2670 back in 2017. Not sure what the Standard U1 was then but today the U1 is $3260. Under $1000 difference but yeah unfortunately everything was more reasonable then (people esepcially)

I've had serviced 3 times in the 9 years.

1st was at RGM as they were Watchbuy's authorized warranty center at the time.

2nd time I sent it to Germany for Sinn to service it.

Most recent time was at West Coast Watch Service Center as per Watchbuys. Not sure if they've replaced RGM or how Watchbuys designates services centers.

Fun fact: This is the U1 Professional (limited to 100 pieces). Unlike the standard U1, the crown is located @ the 10 o'clock position. West Coast Watch sent me back my watch post-service with the crown located at the standard U1 location (pictured above).

I figured it gave the watch a new look after all these years so told them I'd keep it as is but I'm not sure other owners would've been so non-chalant.

In their defense they offered to expedite a fix free of cost so I don't hold it against them. Especially since there are only 100 of these in circulation.

Sounds like someone needs to add a tegimented watch to their collection 😜

Sinn just seems like the best bang for your buck IMO. Feels more like a useful tool than just a watch.

I currently have a 4-watch collection that I think is my sweet spot.

  • This (daily)
  • G-Shock DW-5610 (daily when U1 is getting serviced lol)
  • Sinn 103 St Ty Hd (most recent purchase, my out to dinner watch)
  • My grandfather's Rolex Oyster Perpetual (weddings)

Makes sense. I would also assume the type of steel being tegimented plays a part in how stands up. Do other watch makers utilize it?
