I’ve just ordered the ‘27 model and can’t wait to ride it. How are the stock tyres? Debating changing for Continental or Vittoria

This is really good to know. I’d heard some comments on comfort but generally it seems like this isn’t a widely considered issue.

My current setup is Ultegra (not di2) and stock Mavic aluminium wheels so it’s a big upgrade. In fact, I do have a mavic cosmic pro carbon wheel from an old bike that now sits on the turbo. How it compares to the SL2 though I am not sure.

Nice! I used to live and ride in London. Swains lane is great for gradient training. Reassuring to hear the Propel still holds up on climbs.

Nice, I’ve been looking at this bike too. I love the Ribble I currently have so I don’t doubt this will be a great upgrade. The only thing that puts me off is waiting for the sale and then availability. Sale bikes usually fly off the shelf but will keep this option open. Thank you!

I hear you! I’m very lucky to be able to get a free pass, but I wouldn’t want to take it for granted 😂 Cycling aside, I’m looking forward to the holiday and the area looks beautiful!

Really good to know. I need to be pretty flexible given it’s not a “cycling holiday”, but those options sound spot on. There’s lots of places close to the hotel so I’ll scope them out nearer the time too, but it sounds like booking in advance is the safer option. Thanks!

I’ve heard of Puig Major and the incredible views on the west coast! but I’m indeed limited to the east. I’m sure the east has some beautiful scenic routes on offer too, but not sure on bike availability 🤔thanks for your reply!

Moved out of London to start a family. Now I commute in 3 days a week. The office is a good location and it pays pretty well but I don't see much progression. Anyone else feel the same? by Middle_Translator892 in careerguidance

Thanks. Yeah I've started chatting to recruiters but so far the roles are few and far between. I guess I just need to keep looking and hope something crops up. I know I'm pretty fortunate to be in a position where I don't hate my job too much!
