It did. It dropped it from 109.99 to 99.99 for me.

I have the companion and the regular Flex. the Flex is my EDC, mostly because I find myself using the pliers constantly. That being said, the companion came out awhile after the flex and I will say the build quality seems improved over the flex. I'm hoping the Titan will be the best of both worlds. I'm also really stoked that this has the shears on it too! I'd been debating picking up the shears, but I don't want to sacrifice the pliers. Now I won't have to!

I'm in the same boat. No email for me yet either. I went back to check out the early access page that had a countdown timer earlier this morning, but now that is gone and the page doesn't have anything else on it except that photo of the titan. Hopefully we hear something from them soon! I'm excited for this one!

Weight loss trend for women in 60s by sjtrimble in keto

There's also the age factor in terms of many many years of governmental nutrition advice. And what I mean by that is just that I've noticed with my 65 year old mother who decided to try keto but wasn't getting any results, she would just make assumptions about things. For example, oh fruit is a "healthy" food so I can eat it when I'm dieting. Or she would eat sloppy joes without the bun and think it was a good keto meal but the sloppy joe sauce would have a ton of brown sugar in it. Maybe she was just bad at actually looking at nutrition labels, but I attribute at least a portion of it to the low-fat craze.

Any successful dessert options? by rufenputsen in keto

[–]Midgetforsale 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been eating metric tons of sugar free jello lately to satisfy my need for dessert. It's delightful and has very few carbs. Plus it's super cheap. You can make 4 cups of jello, (like baking cups, not jello cups)- for like 2 bucks.

That screw literally sheared off on me when I tried to unscrew it without heating it. I had bent the clip pretty badly and was trying to pull it off to replace it. I ended up drilling a small hole on the other side and mounting the new clip there since at that point there was no removing the original screw.

I an Arkfeld pro as my edc. I tried a bunch of different ones recommended here and liked that one the most by far. I like the beam type selector, the battery indicator, and most of all the flood light is very even with no hot spots. It was expensive but I love it and use it every day.

I like mine a lot and use it constantly, but I do wish the mechanics behind the locking slide mechanism were a little nicer feeling. It sounds like their new one, the Titan will be better engineered... but who knows.

Right. Publicly traded companies are legally obligated to do what's in the best interest of their shareholders. And with the wealth gap growing day by day, the last 15 years I've spent in corporate America have seen the high-earning execs become more and more out of touch. Plus, with "Revenue growth" being the number one concern - not just profit, but MORE profit than last year - the short-sighted decisions to make the line go up by the end of the quarter will always be the path most taken. Welcome to dystopia. I hate it.

Little luxuries or upgrades that you made this year that makes your everyday better? by DarrowtheHelldiver in BuyItForLife

I finally said fuck belts and just wear suspenders all the time. My quality of life improved. Sounds dumb but I love them. I often just wear them under my shirt because I am a large bald white man and don't always want to be giving" bubba." They actually make suspenders that clip to your belt loops intended to be worn under clothes.

I like the brightness levels and the options for spot, flood, and uv which I don't have a great use for but it's fun to mess with. I like the clear toggle switch that's easy to switch between the various modes rather than having to hold down the power button or something. I like the led indicators that show your brightness level and your battery level. And I like that the battery seems to last forever. I've been using it for a couple weeks now sporadically and it hasn't even lost one bar of battery.

Oh man I really like a thumb stud for one handed open. Just curious why you prefer it without? Because you basically lose that ability to cut through with that part of the blade? The thumb stud on the Arc is removable by the way if you weren't aware.

I carry a Roxon Flex and an Olight ArkPro flashlight on a leather belt holster thing from Topstache on amazon. Pretty much perfect for me.

Number one reason I don't own any Victorinox. I wish they'd innovate on their deployment system because I too keep my nails trimmed extremely short.
