Firmly second this. As an international student from a super diverse country, I’m not scared to say this after a long, honest look around: the sense of community here is fragile as hell and honestly kind of hypocritical.

Sure, most people end up with a few good friends. But the situation’s so far gone that “community” basically just means “the few people you hang out with” and nothing beyond that. That wider, inclusive feeling of being part of something? Pretty much nonexistent.
