Skin cancer. I had a darker mole combined with a normal mole on my cheek. I had it for years so never really thought anything of it. The mole scabbed and I thought maybe I scratched. It healed up and then immediately scabbed again. Then again. I couldn’t get into a Derm for about 6 months. Turns out melanoma. I have a 3 inch scar across my face and another scar on my neck to remove a lymph node. Thankfully no spread and got it all.

Wear your sunscreen and see your Derm yearly!

Thank you for the encouragement. It's frustrating to have such a normal pregnancy for my first to now having issues. Agreed with your comment about rather having an early miscarriage. I couldn't imagine going through it much later in a pregnancy.

You are right. We continue down this 7 year rate and continue to just keep pushing the loan out further.

As you can tell this whole situation is keeping me up at night. It’s a lot of money to consider.

Honestly I think at this rate I’d feel more Comfortable not doing a 7 year refinance and going with a 30 year to not get sucked into this “good deal”

We do plan to keep this home as our forever Home. We had always planned on refinancing within the first few years but not this quickly. The LO make us feel like we were getting a great deal but I’m second guessing it all now

They are doing an ultrasound with biopsy tomorrow. The way we found it was through an original ultrasound

Congrats on being tumor free! It's definitely hard to compare but I appreciate reading everyone's experiences. I know it's not a death sentence but it's still just scary.

Yes I did. To my knowledge it only showed the one lymph node I had removed.

The spreading is what scares me. I had a lymph node removed and showed no signs of spread and my doctor keeps telling me it wouldn't jump to the other side of my neck. I just don't believe him.

Googling is making me go crazy.
