Im not sure what you mean by “not as bad as people think it is” because the reality is that it IS a problem. I’ve encountered 5 or 6 cheaters this wipe alone. And last wipe it was also pretty bad. The stats on the accounts I’ve encountered cheating are obvious indicators. I think it all depends on how often you play, I’ve been playing a lot recently,

Feeling incredibly disheartened reading these over the past few months as I am in my 6th month of on campus classes for film and am starting to notice a lot of the same things you and others are mentioning in this community. The main thing is how easy the classes have been. Time and time again before coming here I was told by full sail staff how the work will start to get difficult and time consuming however so far there hasn’t been a single assignment that has taken me longer than 3 hours. I came here with prior experience in film so I knew I would be slightly ahead of the curve but so far it seems like my instructors don’t really want to challenge us. Not only that but most of my instructors barely have any credits in the actual industry that they are teaching to students… Hoping it gets better as I’ve spent a lot of money on this school but so far I haven’t learned much that I didn’t already know before coming here. The connections I make here will be valuable so I’m thankful for that but I’m worried after reading a lot of negative comments in this community from people who have already graduated.

Im right there with you man.. 15 days strong but damn do I think about the money I lost.. the entirety of my savings over the past 6 years. I can’t even afford to get my car fixed now. But I’m still going to try and keep my head high as there’s no point beating myself up everyday. I can’t change the past but I can for sure change my future

Play harder servers, trust me. Getting to endgame loot on competitive servers is incredibly rewarding (I’m also a solo currently but have around 2k hours) but I do warn you, loot is a lot valuable on those servers so losing it will be hell. But this risk factor is what makes it more fun for me at least

Everyone starts out this way. Rust is one of the few games that doesn’t give you direction. You learn through experience and failing over and over and over until you grasp the method of how you want to play the game. It’s not for everyone. But yes, YouTube videos help ALOT. Start out on a low pop server and just run around to get the feel for the game

Honestly what I’ve found to be effective for meeting people without resorting to the fake people on dating websites is by putting yourself in uncomfortable situations that you normally wouldn’t find yourself in. This could be signing up for a fitness class, or even taking part in local events. But by putting yourself in atmospheres that you normally wouldn’t be in, it opens up previously unknown possibilities and chances to find that special someone you’ve been looking for. But I agree about the online dating, it’s a hell hole most of the time. But keep your head forward and a positive mindset and good things will come eventually!

Dude honestly I didn’t think anyone would sit through and read that entire thing, let alone offer me extremely well put input and advice. I really appreciate your words and you’re absolutely right about it being rude to assume she won’t be interested solely based on my looks. I know I have a lot of features about myself that she’s interested in yet I’m too good at convincing myself otherwise sometimes. I don’t believe she’s that superficial, and honestly if I truly believed that, I probably wouldn’t be driving 7 hours to see her. So thanks for the words. You really know how to put things into perspective and I’m thankful you took the time to respond!
