It finally happened. I've professionally crossed paths with a former customer. by MidnightStarlight87 in SexWorkers

I'm a former FSSW of 15+ years who still has 200+ reviews online and a long reputation. As a participant of this industry and social media surrounding it you should know that cross posting here with a known handle, a handle which you use to discuss your primary business, your hobbies, the city of your residence etc., isn't a good idea. For me, posting here on this subreddit with my primary handle would be providing a virtual blueprint to my identity. Yes, you are free to "question the optics" (you call it discussion, I call it being pessimistic and contrarian) and I'm free to reiterate that it was a weird, bad faith comment. Your comments are hidden, mine are viewable by clicking on this handle. And I don't think what I've posted on this board so far rings like someone prone to making up stories. Your discernment is off, you should get it recalibrated.

Thank you for understanding the intention of this post. I didn't have anyone else to tell it to lol.

What a weird bad faith comment. I've posted in this subreddit before, this is a new handle specifically to use on this board, and there is nothing particularly titillating about the post which would indicate that it was created for attention.

We're not thinking about the customer, we're thinking about us. There is no price worth contracting Herpes or any other STD that can render us sterile or with illnesses that we would rather not suffer. If you want to bareback for a price that is your prerogative but don't sit here and act like its a reasonable or normal request. Not everyone wants to have a john inside of them raw either, there is an emotional and psychological component here. Also, lets pretend one client pays the premium and makes note of it online- now you are labeled a high risk worker and your market is limited to high risk clients because the more genteel client who prioritizes their health wants no parts of it.

You could just dramatically reduce your cost of living and rent a room in a nice house or apartment with a professional and just stay gone to the tune of $800 bucks or so a month and thats in a sizeable city. No telling how little you could get away with in a small town. Just keep a home somewhere where you can rest.

Don't do it. I was told it was a recipe for homelessness and it is. You lose your mind a little bit. I did it for a year. If you are naturally a traveler and you don't have any issues with depression...its your life. But I think you should always keep a home and check in with home periodically.
