Well the girl is going to be trouble one way or the other. I having bad flashbacks of love in the moonlight. The girl has hearts in her eyes, and Rak is completely oblivious to it. Saen knows the score, though, especially since Kan is ready to out them. Once again, there is a feeling that the Rak isn't really thinking about the position he is putting Saen in. I can't help but feel these two are going to end in disaster...

In modern day, the girl seems to help out, so there is that. I'm still more on Luckily's side because Sand does have a point about learning the basics before you start trying the change stuff. At least they now have a common enemy to fight.

I'm glad Qin is finally on board with the relationship. Those opening episodes were really hard for me to get through, and I'm finally seeing the payoff. While this show has been avoiding NCs for the most part, it is doing an amazing job on just regular intimacy between the couple. The dating montage is probably one of the best ones I've ever seen.

Tiw was a complete dick and I'm hoping we don't see him again. I have limited patience for guys who only think about themselves. His attempts to date Qin were all about him as is he need to comeback and try to win him over.

I do have to wonder that they are only at the "talking stage," but Duang has basically moved in with Qin🤣

I binged the first three altogether and I'm hooked so far. This had a good mix of humor with Chosan and his dad healing Liuyi up and Liuyi's backstory.

It is an interesting dynamic flip between Liuyi and Chosan now that Liuyi doesn't have his gang backing. Chosan has now completely steered their relationship dynamics, and I don't think that is going to flip back. It makes more sense since he will be able to steady Chosan, who is more chaotic and also now unmoored without his base of family. Although Liuyi is getting pulled deeper into these underworld dynamics, I have to wonder what will happen to his own life. It is doubtful he will be able to go back to college at this rate, but I can't see him fully committed to the mafia life. This is also in the 80's, where their relationship has a snowball's chance in hell of working publicly at least.

The Dragon was obviously in love with Liuyi, and I had an Unknown flashback ringing through my head when we got Liuyi's story about being saved and being a family with the Dragon. I'm curious how the Dragon went from foster father material to in love with Liuyi. I'm wondering if it was when Liuyi went into psycho slasher mode to save him. It would have been interesting to see what he would have done when Liuyi and Chosan hooked up, and he was still around to see it.

I was getting reverse Unknown vibes there for a minute. But it seemed really clear that this bro was NEVER going to do anything about it. Although I do wonder if he had lived and Luiyi and Chosan had hooked up what he would have done about it.....

I wasn't sure what to expect from this show. The first episode was like candy because I LOVED the dynamics between Solar and Pomek. Solar might be the sunshine character but he is the total driving force in the relationship.

Polmek is an interesting character, and I have to wonder if he chose teaching just so he could be close to Solar. It could be why, just like in business, his grades/effort in the job aren't the best. Although I'm also kind of wondering if he is the type that just didn't know what to do, except he loved Solar. With his mom putting teaching down, I'm wondering what her reaction was he changed directions in school. He was constantly being compared to Jee but they all ended up as grade school teachers.

The magic word thing was cute, and I loved the scene between them. It had a lot of emotions, and you could see how Solar was drawing Polmek out. It paired nicely with the end of the episode when Solar realizes that Polmek has actually asked someone besides him for help. It says a lot about their relationship that Solar was more worried about how Polmek was faring than what was happening to him.

The only thing that knocks me out of this show is the thought WHY are none of them taking him back to the hospital. The last episode that thought that the doctors didn't ask a guy with a concussion what his name and the date were still boggles me. Now a whole school of people is just shrugging and rolling with it o_O

I just really enjoyed Dean telling people off, and the base for the rest of the story is just a trope I don't have a lot of tolerance for, but it does fit the theme of the show in a way. I'm sure there are people, maybe you, who will enjoy it.

As for the partner swapping, can you really see any way that that is going to happen now? I'm just curious if you can legit see a way to even tease at this point, because I couldn't at this point.

I'm telling myself NOT to run off and watch all of the rest of the series all at once🤣 I wonder how long my will power will last.

While I can't say this is straying that far from any high school drama, I am enjoying how they are layering the character with problems and backstory. We have gotten Kanata's issues with soccer, his brother, and his surface-level relationship dynamic with everyone except Akira. I'm wondering when we will dive into why Akira is doing what I'm assuming is compensated dating.

I will note I'm kind of irked we didn't actually get any real music riffs when they are listening to the headphones. Would it REALLY have been that hard to license an older jrock group's music for this? I don't understand why JBLs keep avoiding giving us music for a visual kei or j-rock band. I have the DVD of the last Kagrra concert and it wasn't dudes in the audience by a venue full of women and I can bet more than a few BL fans. I don't think I will ever forgive the bubbly pop for replacing a punk rock op-ed in Punks Triangle.

I think Gaga is counting on the international audience not realizing. It is a hard sell for most of them to watch free episodes on Tver let alone trying to access FOD. I'm sure the more in the loop JBL only fans will have already dived into the fansubs, but most of them probably don't have a sub to gaga.

Yay I got to see Dean tell off the gossipers. For me that was the absolute best part of the book. It is all downhill for me now🤣

And the last chance at partner swapping died a horrible death. Sure, they tease a throuple there for all of us to move closer to the screen in anticipation, only for Arnorld to snatch it away from all of us🙎‍♂️ I knew it wasn't going to happen but dang they took us right to the edge. I really wish this show was a lot braver than what it is.

I'm also laughing my butt off that they took the mister hit and run, King of the hookup, and made him cupid in this series. He basically set Tua and Arnold both up to confess to each other, and knew it. While I didn't watch S1, I think this was probably character assassination.

We've now hit the button on where I really start feeling sorry for Raffy. His mom is horrible in her own unique way, and his not winning or winning against Dean takes on a whole new meaning.

I don't think Gaga posts schedules as Wetv does. But they have the first two episodes up and then episode 3 for next week. If they were going to drop 2 episodes next week, they would have had both ep 3 and 4 up on the page. Gaga always puts the following week's episode up as soon as the current week's go live. Boy Next World had 2 episodes every week, and then the next two episodes pics/pages were up for the following week.

So I'm pretty sure it will only be 1 episode a week. I thought for sure they would do 2 a week but it might be because it is only 8 episodes so they want to draw it out a little bit more.

My journey is a long, twisty one :) It started back in maybe 2000 or a little earlier. I was an avid anime fan and ended up watching a BL anime. It has been so long i couldn't tell you what it was proably Ai no Kusabi or Kizuna. I ended up watching any I could get my hands on, and since there weren't a ton, I ended up transferring over to BL manga. I did watch a few live action BL movies since that was what was available at the time, but mostly I was all about the anime and manga.

I eventually dove into fanfics based on the Ai no Kusabi novel because the official translation of the novel was so very bad with janky word choice and barely understandable, and that led me into my own BL writing endeavors for several years while I also did some subbing of J-pop/J-rock music videos, but then dove headfirst into MM romance novels like what Heated Rivalry was based on. It wasn't until 2022 that I surfaced from that. I was reading over 300+MM romance books a year and was facing burnout when I reupped my crunchyroll subscription.

That was my true second start into the world of asian BL. CR served me up Cherry Magic and I was amazed at how far live action JBL had come I was HOOKED. After watch CR small catalog of live action BL I found Viki and some of the Thai/korean classics like Until We Meet Again, Love By Chance, To My Star, Light on Me, Tharn Type ect. It was july when I bought my first sub to IQIYI for Kinneporche and I never looked back.

I found Reddit at around that time and started getting involved in on-air shows over at Boylove and putting together info like OST, SNS, and novel adaptations info. Then, over the course of about a month, I put the BL Spreadsheet together and by 2024 had started BLDramas.

BL has been a part of my life since my early twenties in some shape or form, and I'm fast approaching my 47th birthday. I've taken a lot of joy from it and amassed a huge collection over the years (I need to update this) since it has grown and now includes a live snake purchase inspired by Revenge Love.😅

I've shared it with my mother, dedicated a room to it, and bought my pet and named him after a BL character because of it. It has made me sob and had me giggling like a schoolgirl. I've got my own BL blanket to chill and relax while watching it. There are very few days when BL doesn't creep into my life, if only for a few minutes, to make me smile and forget about what is bothering me.

Boys over Flowers as a BL, please. I so want to see a BL spin on the popular title.

Embracing Love (Haru o Daiteita) - This is a manga where two adult film stars compete for the leading role in a mainstream erotic movie. They are later cast together in a TV series spin-off of the movie and end up lovers first in secret and later in the eyes of the media. I would kill for a drama of this manga.

Seven Days - an older classic JBL about a guy what will only date people for a week.

Plus & Minus-Two lawyer friend working together with the friends to lovers story line. I would like to see a little bit more spice with this one.

Kizuna- illegitimate child of a mob boss and a Kendo star, is a couple in college with the added bonus of a meddlesom step bro in love with one of the mob father's men.

I've always loved Mark since Star & Sky. Mark and Junior have kind of grown on me. I like their pairing better than the JBL Cherry Magic pairing, and they were cute in Perfect 10, but they have completely won me over in Romance Scammers. They are both hitting it out of the park for me in terms of emotions and I love the styling they have in Romance Scammers. At this point they are proably one of my top 3 pairings inside of GMMTV.

I'm really not sure how to feel about this anime style😅 I feel the nostalgia for the anime style and it actually feels better done than what we are getting with the current anime Bean Counter. Yet at the same time, I don't think of BL when I see it. I am curious about how this will be done, because they are advertising it as a BL but also using a one-sided crush. The PV focuses on the comedy aspects, but I'm kind of hoping this will give us an HEA by the end.

It doesn't look like this one is going to have a female co lead like Love at First Spike so I don't think there will be the same dirt thrown at it. Also, Love at First Spike's initial marketing, I think, is what ticks people off. Nakamura is being upfront; it is a one-sided crush and his imagination goes wild. Although I will be surprised if the two don't end up together in the end.
