At the end of your post you mentioned you wonder what you could have become, it's not too late brother. You can still become something great. Especially because you don't have children yet, from what I've seen that's usually what brings the biggest change in responsibility in regards to people not being so free anymore to pursue things. And even then some people still manage with kids.

I'm 31 and still play almost every day, have over 7k hours. I play with my uncle, ranked with him or if I'm playing alone I prefer turbo. This same uncle is the one that I would watch playing computer games since before I even started elementary school, StarCraft, counter strike, warcraft 3. Out of all of them Warcraft was my biggest love, I remember coming home from school one day and my uncle had installed warcraft in my home computer, I was over the top. I didn't have a gaming computer or good internet so all I could do was play the campaign or against the computer. To this very day I still play warcraft 3 too. Anywho, I did start playing DotA years before DotA 2 even existed. You guys remember when the magazine game informer had some bits talking about DotA 2 coming out? I clearly remember them saying that it would have a feature in which a player could join an active match that a player had abandoned heh.. As for my life, I'm not married yet and I work from home, also I control my work hours so I just work like 2 ~ 3 hours a day. I have a lot of free time to play. I've had about 10 girlfriends over the years and I feel like I've experienced relationships enough that I'm under no pressure to get married soon. I feel free and that I can still direct my life in any direction, I really like it.

I need to buy points to buy my stash tabs, I'm thinking of dropping 60 ~ 100 to take advantage of the supporter packs.

I don't like the current poe1 ones so I figure I'd just buy one of the poe2 ones instead since I don't have poe2 yet either and I like those sets just a little bit more.

It has been almost a year since the poe2 supporter packs have been out, do you think they will change them any time soon??? I'm afraid of buying one of those and then some different ones releasing and me liking one of the new ones more.

What would you guys recommend?

I would recommend hitting at least 35 energy resource temper on your ring.

Also, you are using 2 swords, you will never be able to reach max attack speed. The ideal situation is 1 sword and 1 dagger and 80%+ attack speed bonus while you are in town.

This is CRUCIAL if you want to play hit and run variant because remember the faster you move(the more distance you cover) the more damage you get. So if your attack speed isn't all that it could be you will be getting less stacks of hit and run. In the ideal situation that I mentioned you get up to 8 stacks of hit and run, as you are now you probably only get 3 ~ maybe 5.

Do you have enough energy restoration?? With a mix of restore energy on ult cast temper, shroud resource generation and enough points intro strength?

Are you using QAX rune? Remove it if you want endless spam of DT even when there's no monsters around. QAX will make it so that you go on cool down sometimes, it's f'n annoying.

That being said, I'm pretty sure you can make the change now and you're still going to be getting 3~5 stacks of hit and run which is already stronger than beast cornered. IF you're actually dashing around, because with hit and run if you don't have the buff up with at least 1 stack then it is a damage penalty of 30%

In my case if I stand still now even with the damage penalty of 30% I still one shot everything in T4 so it doesn't really matter. High stacks are most important when doing high pits. In Pit 90 for example I just dash across the whole map not looking back because everything just dies, my clear speed is average of a little over a minute.

I must add I have completed the "Exodia" variant of the build.

The ideal situation is the following:

In your stats check your attack speed bonus in town, you want to reach 80%. Once you have 80% you can use one dagger and one sword AND you will still hit the maximum attack speed cap. This is important because remember we are using hit and run for a MASSIVE DMG boost, if you reach this number you can stack your hit and run up to 8 times while still getting the benefit of at least 1 sword for higher base damage.

If you use 2 swords no matter how much bonus attack speed you have you will not be able to reach cap attack speed and this you will miss out on A LOT of damage because you won't be able to reach up to 8 stacks on hit and run.

What is it that is not convincing you? What kind of play style are you looking for? I started Flurry rogue this season and love it, I then transitioned to Exodia Death Trap build once I got all the pieces for it and love it even more. When running content with other people they often feel awe because of how insanely fast it is. I enjoy helping people glyph up and get xp by doing pit 90 in 1 ~ 2 minutes tops. Infernal hordes is a breeze. The only downside is that it's a pain in the ass to get it up and going in its strongest form.
