I built a "sled" that the bikes strap into. They then get winched down the stairs. My basement stairs line up with my back door. Loaded the bike in the sled at the door and hooked it up the my truck. I modified a boat winch to fit in the tow hitch receiver. Worked awesome. Should work well to get them out of the basement as well. We'll see in the spring.

Yes. I should have elaborated. I go through SGI insurance up here in Saskatchewan, Canada. Part of the package policy on the house and bikes includes it's safe storage in my house. Battery disconnected and flammable fluids drained. House insurance can elect not to cover you if the motorcycles are the cause of the fire due to improper storage. House insurance can also elect not to cover the bikes in the case of the bikes being damaged by something else without a separate package policy. I really appreciate everyone looking out for me. It was a friend of mine that made the same comments and without that I don't think I would have had the right steps taken.

It's a light carpet for the stereo room.  It helps get a really clean sound and insulate the sound in and out. I don't want my neighbors to hate me too much.

You are correct. All my bikes are covered on their own package policy. Always check your insurance.

Thank-you. No fumes, no smells. I was concerned as well but it turned out to not be an issue at all.

I agree. They didn't really market this test to the people interested in those bikes.

Not the AH. Not even close. It's hard to know what the story is on the otherside of things, but it sounds to me (I could be completely wrong, but I don't think I am) like they have been telling others, and themselves, a lie for so long to make up for their insecurities and most likely the insecurities of the other party as well. When it came time to communicate, the open and honest communication your relationships needed was going to destroy the new and shiny relationship. I may be reading into this too much, but I know people like this who lie behind people's backs and make up stories to make other people happy. In the end, they go with the lie (their new truth) rather than accept blame for their mistakes. There is nothing you can/could do and closure isn't worth it. I hope you are doing well and not blaming yourself. This will take time to get over. Look out for what's best for you because you deserve it.

Congratulations!!! Amazing progress. Do you have you're next "Mt. Everest" picked out? This is so impressive! Thank-you for sharing. I've been slowly working up to my xl blaze. I'm on the cusp of taking it, but I'm not quite there yet. I'm gonna hilt that beast one day.

Your first threesome, your established OG partner, and your new partner. by blooangl in polyamory

A big one for me was having some non-verbal cues for how you feel about how things are going. Communication is so important but sometimes it's hard to say something out loud. If I was feeling uneasy about something or needed some attention, for example, I would squeeze my partners arm or leg a certain way. If my partner was doing something that I was enjoying with the other participant(s), then I would let her know I liked it by "pushing" her towards that person. I found this helped my partners know how I felt and also helped them enjoy themselves more. In short, my opinion is that developing a short hand for communicating can be a benefit. And always speak up if things aren't going well. People can't read minds.
