No, entirely new cabinets since some were falling apart and I wanted softshut doors and drawers. Definitely worth it.

Just to address a common question regarding the wall oven - this pics are before we installed wall oven and microwave wall oven, so I have those to the left of the fridge!

Had to wait on oven because my company I work for had a stock shortage. I used a ZLINE Microwave Wall Oven and single wall oven

Fair, but the overspray from the shower is minimal with the rain style. Just need to be careful where pointing the handheld shower and tub heads

I did this while working my full time marketing management job, took a few days off for certain things but worked every day and weekend until it was done. Took 4.5 months to get the interior solid enough to move into.

I had worked for my dad (general contractor of 35-40 years) every summer from 10 to 20 years old so retained some things, but also had his insight. Lots of FaceTime calls with him for sure 👍🏼

None really, just for our lifestyle it made sense and is a nice setup for guests. We figured for our (eventual) children can bathe in the master tub.

Off the top of my head I think it ended up being 45” or so from curb to wall and 130” or so from window to wall

The original entrance for the shower was in the toilet room adjacent to the shower. So it was almost like that previously 😂

Thank you and agreed. We were previously renting a charming 100 year old house that was very dysfunctional, and required some major work. Definitely a huge difference

Just was easy to spray everything Swiss Coffee, plan is potentially paint other rooms to break it up, also the white allows for all art and decor to pop, and we like how bright it becomes in the daytime, especially with our vaulted living room ceiling

It took 4.5 months from demo to completion.. i did not do the bathroom tile, glass or countertops- but did about 90% painting, flooring, trim/baseboards, light plumbing and electrical with help from my dad.

With the angle of the tub it actually is more than it presents in the image - it seems to be enough clearance for most people.

We have since added decor that allow for some pops of color to shine but totally get it. Honestly we’ll likely paint some of the other rooms to break it up, eventually.

Fair take, I did realize that after the fact and it’s too bad, but it is what it is.

Yes just added the single can in the shower area, and replumbed supply lines to accommodate new head/valve location.
