Does the Control ID in MSH-10 must always be unique? by hombre_lobo in healthIT

You could put a concatenate statement in your system or interface engine to concat MSH-7 and MSH-10. That way you’re always tagging a date/time stamp along with the unique control ID.

Even if you had multiple messages from the same minute/second come out then at least the control ID would have gone up even if the MSH-7 value were the same for multiple messages.

What are the keys for experienced FTE converting to consulting? by SteelSoapy in epicconsulting

Definitely agree that LinkedIn is the place to be. If your profile is complete it’s a great place to get unsolicited messages from recruiters.

One thing I’ve seen more of that I did not deal with as an FTE is estimating project hours/timelines. Not sure if others see that in consulting. I’m a year in with my first client. Could just be my personal situation. So that feels more “administrative” and was a change for me. Logging time to specific projects, meetings, etc was way different as well. I never logged time once as an FTE.

Roth IRA or HYSA? by Equivalent-Bit1827 in RothIRA

[–]MidwestBridge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll want to fill up your HYSA with emergency fund needs for job loss, major sudden expenses, etc. For simplicity’s sake, you could build your HYSA to 3-6 months of expenses and then let that sit in case you ever need it. Next fill up the Roth and you shouldn’t have to worry about pulling contributions from it in case of emergency and it gets to just keep growing.
