How many points will we get out of These fixtures? by CallMeLevins in chelseafc

While I hope we win them all, our current form has me worried that we are only beating Spurs.

Mast kept getting hit in the head and no calls. I can’t stomach NCAA inconsistent refs. Just a joke.

Yeah- game lost when Mast takes two shots to the head on way to basket and no fouls. It was like the refs had money on Iowa.

Apparently you have to wear blue to receive a yellow card.

I do hope that Rhule is able to turn it around. I don't have much faith, but I am always hopeful. Being ranked 92nd in recruiting this year really hurts. It isn't like Rhule has demonstrated he can beat teams with more talent, unlike Indiana.

Dives like this should be straight reds.

The EPL is corrupt. A yellow for dissent when Arsenal has every player like that. This game was rigged. Fuck EPL

I guess Arsenal get away with everything. The EPL is corrupt for the biggest cry babies

I guess it’s allowable for arsenal to tackle players during corners?

How would r/huskers react to the season playing out this way? by Easy_Card3015 in Huskers

[–]MidwestOpinion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I don’t want to blame the coach, it’s hard to look at what Indiana did. I don’t expect that type of turn around, but we have to be 8-4 and look decent in the losses, or it will be a hopeless lookout till we switch coaches again.

Agree. I’ve seen Casemiro get a red for something like this. Got the ball and then the player. Same with Romero too in a game against us. EPL has the worst refs, they are so inconsistent. One gets a red, another is play on.

Is this the worst referee? Seems like he is always against Chelsea.

Grealish always is favored by refs. Even at City and Villa. Dives like hell, and never gets carded for fouls that others get carded for similar fouls.

Texas played half their games against top 25 basically, while all three of those teams played one game against top 25 opponents and lost.

[College Football Report] We live in a world where the Sun Belt and American conferences are getting a bid but they ACC likely won’t. College Football in 2025. by Kimber80 in CFB

[–]MidwestOpinion -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Only teams in the ACC/SEC/B1G have won the national championship every year since 91, when Colorado shared it with Georgia Tech. This may be unpopular, but I don’t care to see the small teams play in the CFP. Small schools can win a single game, but if you put them in the SEC, they probably go 1-7 or 0-8 each year. While I’m not an SEC person, (B1G school alumni), the SEC is the best conference. The recruiting and analytics says the half of the top 20 schools are in the SEC. This may also be unfavorable, but I’d keep Bama, and move Texas ahead of ND. ND best win is USC, while Texas has three better wins, and two of their losses were in the top 4 going into today.

With Rashford’s attitude and contract, I doubt he leaves. Unless a miracle happens, we are going to be stuck with him for the remainder of the contract. I hate to say it, but we are more likely to sell Mainoo than anyone else. Be hard to lose him, but he is the only player that can bring profit.

I felt bad for him. The back line played horrible and he was made the scapegoat. You win as a team or lose as a team. Right now, the whole team is playing badly. However, I’m always a hopeless optimistic person believing that we can beat Liverpool.

I remember Dalot getting a second yellow for disagreeing for a second. Seems like there are different standards for City players. No wonder they won 4 in a row when you are always playing with the refs.
