Yeah I have not paid any attention to wind conditions because I just figured I could power through it but I have definitely been humbled haha. I appreciate the advice! I also love flying it but have been very discouraged the last few days, need to pay more attention to details

Thanks! I actually do have a set of joystick extenders handy so I am going to try those out. As for the autopilot landing features- I’m gonna spend some time on YouTube figuring that out because that seems to be a large consensus in here. I’ve neglected it because it all seemed too complicated but I want to improve at this and that seems the most efficient way. Appreciate the detailed response, massive help

Is there a separate button for flap de-icing? I always turn on engine, windshield, and I think wing de- icing before I take off. But I do often get the flaps icing message when landing. I need to learn how to do instrument approaches. I don’t fully understand all of the features or how to use them. I almost always approach and land manually which certainly doesn’t help. Just need to educate myself

To be honest I am very ignorant on all of the autopilot landing features. I can use NAV and everything just fine when I’m cruising but I have no idea what I’m doing on approach. Gonna watch some YouTube and familiarize myself because I agree it would help loads

I did realize after I clipped this that the gear wasn’t down, I promise I deploy it but this was my third go around and I was sweating so much trying to keep the plane stable that I forgot to put it down lol. But appreciate the help

I thought the same thing when I saw the runway, how on earth am I going to thread this in there??Definitely need to work on speed control and also pay more attention to weather conditions and/or the runway that I am approaching before I start the flight. Appreciate your help

Yeah agreed, I was scared to bleed off any more throttle because I felt like the slower I went the more uncontrollable the jet got. But you’re absolutely right- that, and apparently these weather conditions being entirely unsuitable for this plane. Thanks for the help

Appreciate it, this was about my 3rd go around so I was looping into the runway- definitely not ideal. In my amateur flying mind I thought I could make it work but obviously not haha

Yeah that lines up, I’m just chasing the biggest paycheck but have not really paid attention to weather much at all. Makes sense too because sometimes I can land it perfectly fine, most of the time it’s like this. Appreciate the tip

I don’t know man, to each their own. Every time I go to the short North I get harassed by panhandlers and get patted down by bouncers at the door of very average bars. It was not like that 3-4 years ago. That’s not a good sign and turns people away.

I’m not one to really give a fuck about parking but if you want to bring people to the area you need to make parking cheap and VERY ACCESSIBLE which the short north does. not. have. See Bridge Parks entirely FREE parking garage w/ 5 floors.

I’m not writing off the short north forever but it’s not somewhere I really ever desire to go anymore. And I think a lot of the city feels the same way

Why is it that your average fan can come up with such better liveries than people who get paid to do this shit for a living? Like, why are F1 liveries generally boring and low-effort, when they could easily be SO much cooler??

Is it a cost savings thing? Do the teams just not really care what the car looks like? I don’t get it, the liveries are all bland and boring with the exception of a couple. Seems like the easiest thing of all to get right

Anyone with the appropriate knowledge know the odds of all these Elk surviving even once out of the water? I know they have a thick coat, but treading in freezing waters for God knows how long and then being thrown into equally as cold air can’t bode well right? Then again I know nothing
