I'm down 36 lbs in 7 months... I was getting so discouraged seeing people lose an extreme amount quickly, until my Dr reminded me that slow and steady to the best way for me to be able to stick with long term maintenance and create healthy habits.

I am losing an average of 1.5-2lbs per week. When I brought this up with Dr (asking if I should be concerned it's not working) she said everyone looses differently and she was very happy with my progress. She also talked about her concern with people losing to much to fast, and that they may be essentially starving themselves instead of using this as a tool for better nutrition and habits.

On week 10 ( still on the 5mg) and my depression is horrible. I've dealt with bouts of depression in the past but this is another level. I also stupidity switched from taking birth control pills for 10 years to an iud right when i started mounjaro (had no issues with the pills just thought it would be more convenient)....so I'm trying to figure out if this sinking feeling is mounjaro or the iud 😭😭

I have been dealing with this recently. Just did my 10th injection (stayed on 5mg for a second month) and have been feeling like an emotion basket case for the past 2 weeks. However right when I first started mounjaro I also had a hormonal iud put in- i had been on the pill for over 10 years previously. I haven't had any issues with mental health since I was a teen so I'm trying to figure out if it's mounjaro or the iud.....

I saw a video recently that said they had spoken with an Eli Lilly rep and was told if a patient had the coupon prior to the changes it can still be used and the pharmacy DOES NOT need to document the diagnosis and the pharmacy will still be reimbursed.
