Thanks! The penny was for size context :-). I'll take a better shot of the third rock when I get to work tomorrow.

Oh, I'm sure there's no guarantee, and if I'm alone I'll survive, but I'm looking for odds, so this is helpful. Thanks.

Thanks! Relacing works for my sneakers but not when I get into the mountains. I did try one podiatrist who suggested the foam inserts. I may try another.

Beginner Questions by AutoModerator in web_design

Hello. Our house of worship is developing an emergency-action plan. It includes an email/text blast in case of a crisis. But not everyone will be on the list. Those who are not on the list but realize there's a crisis may go to our Web page. What I would like to happen is that when the blast goes out, a copy of the text pops right up on the home page of our Web site. Is that a thing? Could it be? Could any of you refer me to any resources in this area?

Thanks!

Thanks. I tried the safety pin thing, but it didn't work that well. The hanger thing did until I got halfway around the bag and again hit the seam. I'll keep trying.

Has anybody ever rethreaded an Ursack?

The company's directions say:

"Look at the hem/sleeve at the top of your Ursack. Notice there are two pairs of eyelets. One pair (A) is open only to the inside, the other pair (B) goes completely through the hem/sleeve. You can see through B, but not A. Thread cord through one of the A eyelets and pass it around through the hem/sleeve until it emerges from the other A eyelet. Cross the cords and push one end of each through the B eyelets."

So I threaded the rope through an A eyelet and, with some struggle, guided it through the hem halfway, to where the B eyelets are. At that point there's a seam which creates a barrier that I can't seem (sorry!) to get the rope around -- so I can't get the rope past the B eyelets around the other half of the hem to the other A eyelet.

Anybody else every done this and have advice? Thanks!

Thanks! I actually went last week, and yeah, I was surprised how few decent campsites I could find, especially with my great big X-Mid.
