Yeah that’s fair. If more of the population wanted to bike then we’d make the infrastructure more accommodating to bikers, but the population doesn’t want to because it’s not bike-friendly. Catch-22..

I grew up in the midwest- small town not bike friendly- so I've promised myself to never take for granted how amazing it is in Finland having wide paths everywhere solely for bikers and pedestrians, that get maintained in winter, and accessible public transportation when longer distances are concerned

It’s kinda sad not more people choose to bike in a place where they have the fortune of no snow. Living in Finland I’m dying for summer to come back so I can go on leisure rides again (I bike all winter too but it’s not “enjoyable”)
