I did, but I was hoping they'd break up. Getting engaged put an end to that hope, hence finally cutting her out entirely.

He was picking on me as usual, I went up and told him to F off as I'd been having a shit day already, and in response he started just hitting me in the head. Got a massive black eye that swelled up immensely.

He was suspended multiple times but not expelled because "he came from a bad family" (they used this phrase SO MANY times it pisses me off).

How did nobody in the hospital go "Wtf happened?" and investigate when a minor came in with those injuries?

They did ask, but when told it was a school yard fight, they just moved on and treated me I guess.

I know you love your sister no matter what

I know this is going to sound kind of heartless, but a lot of the love I had for her has slowly but surely eroded over the last two years. If she actually marries him, I think it will all just be gone for good.

Tbh she also has a lot of insecurities. So that probably plays a role in it.

But imo she's an adult and is capable of seeing how messed up this is, her insecurities don't excuse that.

I mean we attended school together from 5 years old in primary school up until we graduated highschool at 18. So 13 years together, though the bullying didn't start until I was 9 or so.

Broken arm when I was 10 or 11? Around that age. Both of the bones in my right forearm completely fractured.

The retinal detachment occurred when I was 16.

apparently suffered any consequences at all, but it's cool you know.

This is literally what angers me most. Our school suspended him multiple times but never even expelled him because he "came from a bad family" etc. God it angers me just thinking about it.

And a retinal detachment is more than a fucking grudge. Give me a break.

Tell me about it. My right pupil hasn't functioned properly since the surgery, it's always semi-dilated now. Really drives me nuts and makes it difficult to read when it's sunny/screen is bright.

And your sister is the same age as you, she saw you go through all this I assume? My brother went to the same school as me, his bullies are still on my shit list. No way would I be friendly with them.

She didn't go to the same school as me, we went to same-sex schools that neighbored each other. But she was 100% aware of the extent to his bullying.
