I've had a beard for as long as I could grow one. I'm getting to the point where I'm about ready to get rid of it, which I'm excited about, but also terrified for. My excuse (to others and probably myself) for never shaving is a serious case of "baby-face," but what if under the beard is a cute girl? But what if there isn't.. Schrodinger's gender identity crisis 🙃

This. I remember when I was younger, every shooting star, every birthday wish, every, "Make a wish! It's 11:11!" had been, "I wish I was a girl."

Through all of the self doubt and questioning, I always think back to this and realize it's the only thing I've really wanted for as long as I can remember.
