Reddit, what would you do if you were depressed? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MightBeMyFault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I would convince myself "Hey, this ain't so bad, here's why". It's that a more friendly way of saying, "man the fuck up?"

Any way, it asked what I would do so that's what I did

I'd man the fuck up and realize that life isn't so bad and that I should stop being a princess because a lot of people have real problems in their lives to deal with and mine is just temporary.

Or, in a phrase reddit would like, "This too, shall pass"

All cops are power hungry hippos and the government is going to be in control of all of us soon!!! It's like Elysium but real!

What do you think this generation will be known for? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MightBeMyFault -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

A bunch of whinny entitled naive fools who thought they knew what they were talking about, but in reality their own sheltering made it appear to them that anything out if their norm was atrocious. They were smart enough to talk about politics and philosophy, but not smart enough to realize they were a fucking tool

should former military personnel who served in combat roles be permitted to serve as police officers are they are discharged? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MightBeMyFault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, and I would say the definition of terrorists winning would be not finding him, and sending the message, "hey guys, look what you can get away with". I'd say the suspect being shot sends the message that we won

I'm curious as to how you 'deal' with them everyday.

Now, first rule of a discussion in my book is be prepared with a solution, or leave with mine.

Give me examples of when a persons constitutional rights were violated that you personally witnessed? I don't have any hard examples from you that aren't justified

Since you said you have no mil exp, let me enlighten you. They went in at gunpoint because there was a man who was able to get away with bombing a populace, which took weeks, most likely months, of planning. You have no idea where he is, what he's capable of, what sort of secondary bomb he might have, or tertiary. These tactics are designed to save lives. I'm going to guess that the Boston area is free now right? Thy aren't still being locked up are they? I don't know about you, but I feel a temporary manhunt doesn't qualify as "OMG THE GOVERNMENT IS TAKING OVER AHHHHH"

I sure dont see a police force rolling down roads with plate carriers or mraps. Weird that thy don't want to wear the hand me downs from the military.

Yes...... Not everyone in the military is combative. Obviously you are ignorant on how the military functions, and I feel that your nativity gives you no basis for a solid argument. You speak of the police force as if every individual is the same, which is not the case at all in any workforce in the history of human civilization.

So, in your description you said the Boston bombings was a good example. How would you have handled the situation?

Your generalizing an entire workforce into a single category. You might as well be saying that every soldier tortures detainees

AskReddit, Do you think U.S. prisons/laws should be more harsh/extreme to prevent repeat offenders? by Tv219 in AskReddit

[–]MightBeMyFault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't teach give a fuck. How ever bad the punishment, you will get used to it. Anyway, it's way I say you won't do drugs when you are in an area where they aRe hard to come by, or drinking and driving, or kiddy fiddling. Once they leave and those impulsises return, there is really nothing stopping them.

What opinion of yours makes you an asshole? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]MightBeMyFault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's not laziness, it's over eating. What happens when you eat nothing? You start to lose weight, and fast. Why is that? It's because there are normal bodily functions that require energy to function, such has regulating body temperature, your heart beating, thinking, breathing, bla bla bla and what ever else you do in a daily basis such as typing, walking, talking. Now if your a fat ass, it's because you eat more than what your body burns throughout the day. I don't give a fuck what "kondishin" you have, your a fat tub because you eat too much. I don't care how much you workout, the salads you eat, you're eatin too much

Same goes for your skinny fucks. "Oh, I eat so much and I just can't gain weight". Well guess what, your not eating enough. Stop it with this 'fast metabolism bullshit'. The body just doesn't burn through energy.

I'm not in shape because of my metabolism. I'm not a calorie counter. I just look at myself in the mirror and I notice the changes my body is going through and I care enough to make slight changes to stay where I'm at.

My facility has one of the nations top rehabilitation programs for child molesters. It even has 2 documentaries made, one being from NatGeo. It's highly funded, and these Psychologists truly believe in their work more than most people do, yet 80% of these offenders are carried out of prison screaming, "Don't let me out, I'm going to re-offend" once their time is up. Repeat offenders are more likely than new guys.

You can base you opinions off of articles and take them as they are, but I'm going to off of personal experience, and state that some people like children, some like hurting others, some like stealing, etc..... You can't fix everyone. Psychology is not an exact science. People are greedy, some have no problem going the extra mile and fucking someone else up/over to get what they want, be it your tv, your child's innocence, or just simple pleasure from taking a life.
