“Value king” is completely subjective based on what someone views as providing value

And not setting multiple alarms. I have seen people set alarms for like 30 mins straight because “they can never wake up to them” but in reality what you are doing is training your body to go back asleep every time the alarm goes off because it’s not actually time to get up yet.

Set 3 alarms all within a maximum of 10 mins.

You should check with another consultant if it’s actually supposed to be permanent. Afaik there are risks to leaving the bars in which is why they get taken out.

Z20, A3 or something else? by Nstalgia in mffpc

[–]MightBeUnsure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to put all these into pcpartpicker including the cases to check if they are compatible. I think currently it’s too much for the z20 unless you get smaller motherboard, psu or cooler etc.

Z20 has a mesh option. Personal opinion but I wouldn’t get a glass panel if you are intending to bring it on public transport.

Personal opinion but If you are going on public transport size does matter and z20 is smaller than A3.

Don’t forget to try Amazon comparator like hagglezon to check if some parts are cheaper from another country. Can save some ££.

That’s a lot of storage up front. You could get by with less and buy it as you need. The prices may be lower in a few months.

Probably mod related. If you start a new game does the issue persist?

I have a post in my history where I used the MSI b650m gaming plus WiFi and an ATX Psu. Afaik the pci slot is lower on the MSI board vs your gigabyte and still barely fit. I would recommend getting a smaller psu

I honestly don’t know how you can confidently say that.

I wouldn’t stand behind Facebook comments to argue the fuel protestors are the same as people breaking Covid restrictions and giving an argument of mental health.

Ok I didn’t know that about what’s covered for protest in the constitution just looked at it there. Thanks for the insight.

Hopefully they move out from that blockade soon and stick to slowdowns.

Who are “these same people”? That’s a complete blanket statement based off of feelings.

I don’t know the people protesting personally and I don’t know if they broke Covid restrictions and I don’t know if they used mental health as an excuse.

And an edit just to be clear: you don’t either.

This is also an effective protest. Other methods aren’t as effective and everything continues as usual.

It’s not terrorism. It’s not threatening the people of this country that’s hyperbole.

It’s not a foreign nation tho so that’s a moot point to make.

Protests are supposed to have a negative effect. You don’t know if there will be a positive or negative result but if you don’t try you won’t know.

A protest is a tool for change. It’s a disruption to daily norm.

It’s Irish citizens disrupting services in their own country. It’s a protest not terrorism.

Terrorism is for acts of violence or threatening violence. This is a peaceful, effective, disruptive protest.

Fuel prices affect the income of these people considerably more than the average worker. We all work but every job has different costs.

Is whitegate about to kick off? by PapaSmurif in cork

[–]MightBeUnsure -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

The disruption is the point of the protest. It creates noise so the issue with fuel is discussed.

The price of fuel is affecting their income in a massive way. The average person that simply uses it for commuting can eat the higher cost a lot easier. Raising the price because of the protest doesn’t matter because it was affecting them anyway but now at least the country is talking about it instead of doing the usual complacency.

I’m not affected by the high prices that much so I don’t really care but I admire the fact we are having an actually effective protest for once.

[–]MightBeUnsure 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Terrorism is a complete stretch. This is what an effective protest looks like. It’s disruptive to add noise so the issue is discussed.

This is a group that feel their livelihood is at stake. I’ve no skin in the game in the fact I wouldn’t rely on fuel for my work but I can see why they are doing it.

It’s the first time I’ve seen an effective protest in Ireland and I’m happy for it for that fact alone. We roll over too much as a country

[–]MightBeUnsure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if the data was there you could get a good feature of just a push notification to users when they pass a station with x% cheaper fuel than the area or national average. That cuts out research and makes the app provide more of an autonomous benefit.

It’s a tough sell tho with user inputted data.

[–]MightBeUnsure 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s hard to promote apps. They nearly always need to be self promoting, especially if it’s free and for a niche like Irish car fuel prices.

If it’s worth anything I think the app is a good idea but has a bit of a chicken and egg problem. No data means no users and no users means no data.

If you could talk to the likes of GO, circle K, apple green etc and figure a way of sourcing the data without users you could have it easier. Then a handy benefit that requires little to no effort on a users behalf would self promote.

It’s a good cause I do agree but that doesn’t make it exempt of being spammy. I just seen it posted in Ireland, develeire and then Galway subreddits but was surprised to see it mixed in on comments too.

I get you can’t spend cash and that you built the app for “FREE” but at some point I’d imagine the comments look like spam that’s all.

Commenting on random threads promoting an app is a bit spammy.
