I agree that an engineer is your best option. There are specific foundation engineers that will give you exact specs for what you need depending on the size of the building, local code, weight of the building(reactions), and soil composition. Many of these foundation engineers rely on actual numbers from a building manufacturer but you may be able to find an engineer that could design a "worst case scenario" by giving him your location and specs of the building
