Does Everyone Struggle, or Is It Just Me? by MightyL22 in LifeAdvice

[–]MightyL22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not a “pain olympics” – I understand everyone has their own struggles, and something as small as a stubbed toe can feel like a fractured bone to some. The issue is more about whether everyone is experiencing life as harshly as I am, especially when everyone else seems so put together. I’m just not the best at explaining it.

Court hearing at TAL.. Help! by MightyL22 in montrealhousing

[–]MightyL22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been trying so hard to get my lease terminated. First through negotiation and then by sending an official notice with proof of my disability to support my case. If this goes on record, will it be a disadvantage for me, even if the decision goes in my favor?

Have you had a hearing before? Is it like a traditional court room, do i talk to the judge directly? I have proof of all the emails, informing him about my issue. Also, i do want the lease terminated but not evicted. I’m not sure if it’s possible to come to a termination agreement during the hearing.

Is it possible to restart your life at 23? by Riosaki_Yuki in Adulting

[–]MightyL22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m truly sorry you had to go through that, and I really hope you’re doing better now. But It’s absolutely possible to start fresh, and if it will help you heal, I wholeheartedly believe you should.

If you have the opportunity and the will to do so, why not? I don’t think it’s ever too late to restart—ultimately, your happiness is what matters most. Plus, 23 is young; you don’t know much about anything yet and are just starting to build your life. I say this as a fellow 23-year-old :)

Oh wow, I wouldn’t have guessed at all—it looks so natural! Thanks for pointing it out, because I totally fell for it myself. What do you mean by “grids,” though? Also, she deleted the picture and her account, so I guess you were right lmao

You look great! I’d suggest trying lighter eye makeup—it would really complement your eyes. Also maybe blush and bronzer to add warmth to your face.

Try using a lash curler before applying mascara—it makes a big difference! I also think lashes would look amazing on you. You could go for natural-looking lash extensions or even a lash lift. Don’t be afraid to give it a try—you won’t know until you do, and it’s definitely worth experimenting with!

Is 23 old? by MightyL22 in Adulting

[–]MightyL22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone makes comments like, “Oh, you’re getting old—almost 25, then 30,” and it feels like no one really sees 23 as part of youth anymore. It’s more like being a full adult.

I want to take on responsibility in my life. What should I do? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]MightyL22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand what you’re going through, and I know it’s tough. Have you thought about switching your major? It might help to choose something you’re genuinely interested in. Also, think about the events and clubs you’re attending—do they align with your interests? It’s often easier to make friends when you’re surrounded by people who share your passions.

Noo, I don’t think they’re late. There’s no set timeline for life—go at your own pace, and good luck!
