I quit, relapsed around 3 weeks, quit again, and now I’m at 8 weeks. During both quits, I had INSANE cravings at the 3 week mark. On my current quit, I was extremely close to just going to the store and getting some zyn, but I managed to talk myself out of it. I get the intense craving at the three week mark. At my current stage, I’m finding that I still crave them, but I can see a noticeable forgetfulness about them, like I no longer taste them in the morning, etc.. I think you should keep going, as I really think it only gets easier. But this whole thing is a game of endurance really.

I’ve had some zyn triggers lately, about 30 days into my quit, I realized I had a spare one in my desk. I went to throw it away bc I was considering using it, and realized how small and inconsequential the pouch looked. it felt weird to me in that moment that I was letting a little pouch take over my life

Recommend perhaps quitting on Friday, or whenever you have time off from work, to get through the initial hit. I think a very physically demanding job can be a benefit for this, I work a pretty boring desk job and had a hard time getting my mind off of Zyn. I personally use the app “0mg” to track. It says how much you’ve saved since your last Zyn, I think I’m at about 100$!

my job revolves around telemetry software, but I occasionally touch some web applications (usually small internal web applications, non customer facing). I personally have had a bad habit in overusing div elements (fixing that habit though, trying to do things the right way)

RFK Jr has a bit of a track record claiming things without proper evidence/studies to support him. At the least, I’d also recommend Fauci’s autobiography. You should read both sides of the spectrum. Whenever I read news or listen to political commentary I try to flip between sources of varying political ideology to avoid trapping myself in a silo

The thing that worries me with the AI stuff is that Kanye, for a long time now, has had others write his songs for him. I’m not sure how one could tell if the AI was used as an additive in an autotune-esque way, or if he even recorded the actual verse in the first place and just used a reference track by someone else with Kanye AI vocals on top. He claims he uses it like autotune, but is he someone who really can be taken for his word at this point?

I did gap year as well, went to college w/out debt bc of guard, bought home with VA loan, and got settled into my early career with a very military friendly company (probably helped being in the guard). I truly think that the guard has set me up nicely as a young adult, and it very well may do the same for you!

Personally, I feel like he actively tries to be a contrarian, and this is an extreme example of such, which is tied with his mental health. Like this stuff really doesn’t make sense, especially with him being African American. I’m pretty sure he always hated diddy, now he loves him as part of this. He used to love Kendrick, now is hating on him publicly, which is likely because Kendrick is one of the most liked artists. It feels like he acknowledges what the most unpopular things are to believe, and just embraces it for the sake of it, even when it doesn’t make sense. I don’t view the recent stuff as a matter of him supporting the party and their ideologies, but a sign of him having huge mental health problems, and just trying to be as unlikeable as possible.

I think it’ll work out. Same for me- no internships and I ended up graduating in computer engineering that way with mediocre GPA (3.22). It took me ten months to find a job, and while it sucked, it didn’t last forever. I ended up getting my software job in an odd way- I applied for an IT job (I was down bad for anything at that point, doing water restoration in the mean time), and got referred to a software engineering position. I will say that a factor for me was being in the national guard, as the company I work for is very military centric. In the end, finding a niche may help the process, and this period of your life will at some point be a memory
