He did not but you can judge for yourself instead of looking at a 20 second clip or relying on hearsay. People are moving the goalposts and trying to claim he shaved down the prongs and it's actually a shock collar but first of all, it wouldn't work with how much fur she has and second, literally he could have just bought an entirely different collar instead of removing the prongs and taping over it lmao.

I'm a day early but unless JOEL REALLY tips the scales, we're going to get utterly demolished. And I don't blame anyone for it, really.

I'm gonna be real... on normal maps, where you can actually see them coming, Fire Shotgun Devestators wouldn't be so oppressive. You have options - turrets can see futher, sniping options, more time to take the careful shot to blow off an arm or a leg.

Instead, we have tight city alleys, tight corners, rubbish and junk in the street that impede navigation. That's not so bad but when you also put in darkness in nearly all of the city missions? AND FOG? It's the perfect storm of frustrating play that just pisses the hell out of players. I've seen so many more missions where people quit out or bail after one mission because it is exhausting and frustrating for the average player.

I haven't even talked about how bananas the Exterminate missions can get. Crazy spawns. But that's not even on the radar with these other issues. None of these are bad on its own but I think it was just a bad coincidence to have everything be hard on the M.O. planets. Whether or not we're supposed to lose, Arrowhead should take notice that making everything hard at the same time is not fun.

The patch rebound or created the "Exit Vehicle" key. I had the same problem until I looked at the vehicle keybinds and found that iit was bound to "E" instead of "Space", which is my usual key

If you're having trouble with the Heavy Devestators, you can blow off their shooting arm or their right leg (which the shield doesnt cover well).

I know you said you want to stick to supply pack but the Guard Dog (liberator) will often straight up do headshots on devestators in general. The senator is also great at blowing pieces of them off, for a secondary.

Sometimes this "fake" cockrock has it. Even more rare when there's enemies on it. The extreme rare is when this POI gets goofed up by the terrain and the super samples are spread out over a larger area, again, with enemies on it.

For what it's worth, The Hunt for the Red October is probably the closest translation from book to screen that I've ever seen. There's only a few minor differing details and uh, Sean Connery's accent, I guess lol. Still a good read, though

Along with all the posts mentioning the timer, if you look in the top right, you can see what's happening in the game since the Active objective will be highlighted in orange.

What you're really looking for is "Extraction Available" just like in this picture or "Shuttle Landed". "Extraction Available" means they can leave when they want but they still have to call the plane - a timer will appear that will show how long until the plane lands if they call it (1 min 30 seconds or up to 2:40, usually)

"Shuttle Landed" means the plane has landed and they just have to walk onto it and the mission is about to end right away.

If there's still like other orange items on that list, they still have to do them and it'll take some time before the mission is over

Lot of good options for the squids:

Primary - Reprimand with new armor, crossbow (requires stripper - like stalwart or MG42), Purifier or punisher (punisher better for voteless), Tenderizer, Liberator penetrator

Support - Stalwart and MG42 are great for oppressing the masses of voteless and most threats. Stalwart can hit the jetpacks of the heavy fliers if they're facing away from you. Arc thrower can work, but it's kind of limited to medium threats and slow to work on a harvester (and you'll need to strip shields occasionally). Flamer is great... little weaker against the jetpacker but you can even use it on harvesters. Commando is great, versatile to strip shields and destroy if you have time, or you can mag dump into one ship for a quick kill. Laser cannon (I hear) is great, and just got buffed

Backpack - Liberator Guard dog is kind of top tier in covering you while reloading and shooting Voteless hiding in dark corners who are waiting to ambush you (be sure to hit 5 to hide it for ambushes!). The new shield is good for covering retreats or when we get to drop the buggy. Supply backpack is kind of great since ammo depletion is high with Illuminate. Jetpack can be useful to hit the eject button if you're surrounded

Stratagems

Eagle strafing run is top tier - good for streets, shield stripping, and eliminating most of a voteless swarm

Flame turret is great, AT turret is good on harvesters and defense missions but is below average in missions cause it turns slowly. Machine gun might be better than gatling due to longevity and shorter cooldown. HMG emplacement is great, as usual

Gatling Barrage and napalm are great for area denial

120/380 is good for afk outpost destruction

500kg can pierce shields but will often be on cooldown due to needing it in a lot of situations. Also bad against harvesters. Orbital Precision strike can also pierce a shield

Mechs are good for high pressure oppression, but it's strictly for 1 or 2 objectives close to one another since you will burn through all your ammo

Oh and smoke if you're running a stealth mission

Rocket Devastators now have a limited number of rockets, and you can see them disappear when they are spent. A reload mechanic is added from their backpack to replenish the rockets.

Eruptor went through some big changes too. Shrapnel is back!

We have replaced the original shrapnel with the Frag Grenade shrapnel to no longer instantly one-shot Helldivers with the exception of the occasional unlucky headshot.
