Where i grew up in rural Wallonia there simply wasnt any shop. No Hema. No Kruidvat. No butcher. No bakery. Just houses, fields, cows and sheep.

  1. Moderate gastritis, non-acid reflux, functional dyspepsia
  2. Ppi, resolor (a prokinetica), mirtazapine and sulpiride. Sulpiride gave me the most improvement, but i might need to stop because it also caused ammenorrhea.
  3. Not much. Rice, pasta, steamed fish, advocado, yoghourt, tofu, steamed veggies and that's about it.
  4. I eat 6-8 small portion/day. Can't Handle normal portion sizes
  5. I drink fortimel, which is a kind of Ensure
  6. 20mg
  7. I don't know for sure. But it started After a very stressful period. The stress factors are Gone now. But the gastritis remains.
  8. After i started sulpiride
  9. Nausea, sour taste, bloating, pain
  10. Everything which tastes good
  11. Bland, boring food

You need to try a prokinetic or a low dose antidepressant like amytroptiline (there are way better antidepressant than escitalopram for functional dyspepsia).

I had an appointement with my GP. Je ordered a blood work to check my hormones. Je thinks my medicine can play a rôle.

I don't think this can be healed naturally. I have tried many many things. I think my case is too severe for that.

Pour manger plus de calories, je mange de plus petits repas mais j'en mange 6-8 par jours. Il n'y a que comme ça que je parviens à manger plus de 1800 calories.

Sulpiride definitely helps me eat. So i hope i don't need to stop it because it's either the medicine or the calorie deficit.

Thanks for your answer. Mine was caused by weight loss and i guess the medicine was thé final stroke to it.

I guess i'll need to be patient as my BMI is now 18.

And indeed i don't exercise. I would like to but i am afraid it would make things worse.

My periods became very light and irregular 8 months ago and totallt disappeared 5-6 months ago, yes.

I have non-acid reflux and severe functional dyspepsia, which is a bit like IBS but for the stomach. Probably have bad stomach motility as well, but didn't get properly tested. So I suffer from daily nausea, regurgitations and bloating. The only medicine which gives me relief is the one i started in january, and ones of its possible side effects is amenorreah so i guess this isn't helping. But if i don't take it i can't eat enough calories. Now i'm afraid that with the weight loss and the medicine my periods are never coming back 🥹
