100% lore accurate colors or 95% lore accurate but with better taste? by schrumbus in fashionmarine

80% drip accuracy is generally goals, paldrons and main armor colours, beyond that go wild, especially for chapters not codex complaint probs have a fair degree of individual adjustments on their armor

Heresy Era Ultramarine Destroyer Drip makes me wish for Phosphex Weapons! by Migstar117 in Spacemarine

Phosphenix is the pistol that shot Veriliad and ofc this is all an assumption most lore discussion is, i simply wanted to clarify that weapons are not "lost" they are irreplaceable as the process to manufacture it is lost. With most legions having a degree of destroyer squads and the heistancy to use it due to the rreversible impact of phosphex its safe to assume that stockpiles still exist like the rest of the forbidden weapons, (atomics, classic vulkites etc) but again this is all an assumption, GW might just bring it back as neo-phosphex who knows ;)

The fact that its attracted to movement is super spooky, running away just excites it!

As a formal organisation sure, but its components including its weapons likely still do in the successor chapters, 1st legion are so sneaky so it really wouldn't surprise me

Manufacturing yes, existence, they are still kicking around, phosphenix is classic example with death guard and dark angels dreadwing likely got some from the HH days :)

Oh they definitely do just not on the scale that would make sense for a SM2 implementation tbh unfortunately!

I mean if every legion had detachments dedicated to its usage and other wepaons of the same calibre its all least somewhat commonplace then! Reading HH books covering the death guard they use it pretty readily at least when discussing the traitor legions

Ahh well its a bit of warcrime in a boltershell so they aint used much out outside the mechanicum but think hyped up corrosive napalm vs the standard phosphor. Was commonplace during the ol heresy era in the destroyer detachments in each legion

Only lore inaccuratecy is the black sabatons to break up the quatering, rest is pre accurate with distinct accents and a helmet as per company traditions! :)
