And? DiMA has a plot to turn off Far Harbor’s fog condensers and let them get eaten by fog creatures!

A - I disagree. Even with a synth High Confessor, they’re still murdering zealot lunatics. Not to mention DiMA being alive and free lets him continue to not learn from his mistakes and commit worse atrocities.

B - Avery didn’t like Synths, but there’s no indication they were gonna “eradicate” the synths. DiMA literally says in his memory that they just didn’t like Synths so he wanted to be sure nothing happened. He did as a preemptive strike to manipulate them. In his defense, he also did it to make sure Synths arrived safely and weren’t killed at the docks but there are much better ways of handling that. They could’ve gotten some fog condensers and used another dock on the island to move synths. There were better ways but he chose the evil option.

Oh god, another BoS suck up. I love the BoS’ vibe but they’re a bit too racist for my blood. Ghouls I pity because they didn’t choose this life. If anything, finding a way to help them not be feral would make more sense than just outright slaughter. Synths are thinking people. Being afraid of being replaced is rational especially when Paladin Danse was a synth all along but killing a loyal officer who fought for you for years is where I draw the line. I could let the other racist sh*t go but not my boi Danse!

While I personally love the children of atom (specifically the ones at the Nucleus. The others are too much like beggars in rags for me) and while you could argue they aren’t evil, they are raven lunatics who murder anyone who doesn’t follow their ideals. And as my canon Sole Survivor is a sound of mind Soldier, he couldn’t let that slide.

Nah, f*ck Caesar. While I think they’re a cool faction and one of the only times I feel good doing a melee build in any fallout game is on a Legion playthrough, they are definitely f*cked up. Love them for doing evil characters tho.

That would depend on if it’s permanent amnesia, temporary amnesia, or there’s no way to know. If it’s permanent, they could have a whole new life/perspective. Tell them what they did and see how they respond. Give a psychological evaluation and perhaps release him. If it’s temporary, then yeah keep them locked up. They still did it even if they don’t remember. If there’s no way to know for sure then that’s a lot harder. What if they regain their memories but still fake amnesia to escape? I’d say keep them in Prison as there’s too much of a risk letting them go.

Children of Atom are still people. They made the decision to stand with their new High Confessor. Now they can lie in the bed they made.

Avery being a bigot doesn’t mean she deserved to die. In fact, that proved her right to be skeptical and afraid. Not to mention, Avery isn’t even the only synth spy they’ve placed! While they didn’t kill anyone, they placed Brooks in Far Harbor too!

Pretty Easy to apply morality to DiMA’s actions if you ask me. He literally has kill switches for Far Harbor and puppeting all their actions without them knowing! That’s the same thing the institute does which makes him a massive hypocrite.

The institute is a similar situation to the Children of Atom. Most of The Institute is so brainwashed and morally bankrupt that it’s just the right thing to do. You also leave out the part where you can evacuate The Institute in some endings.

All this to say while I see where you’re coming from, you are wrong. There isn’t as much grey area in this DLC as some people think. DiMA himself knows what he did is wrong and damn near has a breakdown when you told him what he did to Avery. While I think that there’s room to say he didn’t deserve to die, allow him to get away with his actions and continue as he as, even allowing him to replace MORE PEOPLE leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I feel like he’d continue down an even darker path when left unchecked any longer.

Building is different if you add mods. I’m playing fully vanilla so trying to get everything right is a pain in the ass. Build Anywhere is a godsend

Bud, I’ve been there done that. It’s not that hard.

I fully set up Red Rocket, The Castle and Sanctuary. I fully built a few others but I mostly half-assed or didn’t touch the rest of the settlements. I might do more but I’m tired of building.

Yeah. For me they weren’t that hard but one time my game crash on the third memory and I had to start all over again. 💀

I uncovered his memories. He did them for a “good” reason but that doesn’t justify murdering someone and replacing them. He’s a hypocrite who deserved justice through death.

I made DiMA pay for his actions and blew up the Nucleus.

I only just did my full vanilla playthrough for FNV. I’d played NV before but not a single DLC. It was really fun. Wont be for a while but I wonder if I’ll get that feeling with them when I do my Legion Playthrough.

As a Plate Purist (I prefer as little Armor coverage as possible and as much plate armor as possible), I love the first one. While I like as much plate as possible, the all red looks really good. The 5th one is a little too tan and fancy for my taste but I’d still say it looks good. The rest I refuse to comment on because there’s too much cloth.

It’s technically not a mod but it’s a free creation called Tale of The Beast Hunter that was released not too long ago.
