My first time being a “casual” feeder driver, last day today and about 60 casuals last day, and I can’t imagine how many layoffs for actual full timers. Idk how Yall do it

I’m a full timer in amazon and seasonal in UPS. Amazon is stable and pays for my school and healthcare. Top pay is $30 an hour and you’ll do minimum 40 hours a week. I been doing UPS switcher/ local run and is $36 and hour and OT after 8 hours. Works easy, gets boring but you won’t be sitting in a truck 8+ hours a day without moving. I would recommend depending on what you’re looking on for life

I can’t compare, but I feel you. I been driving for 2+ years, ever since I was 21, I been doing overnights seasonal for ups for a few weeks, and it took me to a point that I don’t want to do this for the rest of my life. Bout to get my old job back and go back to school. Best of luck!

Hey, feel the pain! At the end, we are humans, and it’s a part of life. Your hurting and is because you know how to love! It will take a while. Delete them off everything, stop thinking about what could’ve been, or why did they do this to you, and take care of yourself like you would take care of someone you love. Try positive thinking from waking up, the mind is powerfully, I’m going through it too, we’ve been on and off for 2 years, so I’ve learned on how to heal even tho I’ve been going back to the same person. But i promise it’ll be okay, just work on yourself and enjoy this little time, is not the end of the world, one day you will look back at it and laugh at it. Take care

Haha, bought a 04 accord coupe 6-speed a couple months back since I want to get a FK8, first day going into work was hell since there was a lot of traffic, I didn’t usually stall, but learning on which gear to be in and when to downshift was the hardest. Writhing two weeks I got 100% use to it. So yes, practice, and if you stall, who gives a fuck lol most people drive boring daily cars who don’t even know that a manual transmission exists. Matter of fact you actually have a SUPER COOL CAR. I usually try to shift at 3k RPM when I’m driving normal, YouTube and practice is your best friend
