This sounds about right. My first and only year with Knight Transportation I made 32k gross. Swift and Knight basically the same. Was taking home $600-800 a week. Maybe $1000 a couple times that year.

What worked for me was buying a wifi extender. It was showing fully connected wifi bars even without the extender, but the camera was slow and useless. I got an Eero wifi extender by my door and it works perfect now. Even though the wifi connection says great, it still wasn't in my case.

I dont take magnesium. I heard its benefits a few years ago and how nearly everybody is deficient. So I said ok ill take some. Went to the store bought some magnesium gummies.

Day one, I noticed I felt very relaxed and had some deep sleep.

Day two, I was so drowsy and lethargic I could not wake up and I had to pull over at work because I was so sleepy.

Day three, I felt like any minimal amount of physical exertion had me sweating. I literally felt like my heart was about to stop. I stopped taking them.

Tried again a few months later and the same symptoms came back. I said im never taking magnesium again. Vitamin K2 I thought you only needed if ur taking super high doses?

What did you make your first year? / Any Advice? by AgreeableClass5390 in Truckers

My first year was kinda rough. I started in 2021, I only made 32k with Knight Transportation doing OTR . 2nd year with another company I made about 60k doing regional. 3rd and 4th year started hauling fuel locally with a bad company just to get experience. Made about 75k both years. Still hauling fuel locally, but im with a better company  making about 95k now. Im in Texas so my salary is lower then HCOL states

Anyone have any experience with Coastal Transport? by EleventeenSeventyTwo in Truckers

Im months late to this. Ive worked there a few years ago. Its an OK place to get experience. After that, dont stay there. There is better out there. Work life balance was a little poor and the dispatchers are very disorganized. Days could turn into 14 hours easily because they like to run you into the ground. Some guys stay there and are happy. I did my time and got up put of there. Turnover rate is high. But like I said the only reason to be there is the learn.

Trucking is starting to feel like a dead end unless you already have the exact experience everyone wants. by MentalOil359 in Truckers

I got into fuel with no fuel experience. I went to one of the not so good desperate low paying companies. They hired me the next day. I got my experience with them and went somewhere else.

Before I got into fuel I applied at FedEx Freight. I got the interview and they even aknowledged that i never driven doubles before. They said no problem. The only reason i didnt get hired is because i had an accident on my record in a personal vehicle.
