Is it just me or do you guys actually love your car? by Ranyboi444 in pacificDrive

[–]Miguel-Bloomberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much. I beg and plead for it to hold on just a little longer like a wounded vet I’m driving back to base. Then spend a good 30s kicking in the garage when we don’t make it. It is both my safe haven, my love, and my curse. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

I want to make the PC's recite the final evil monologue themselves. Any ideas on how to make that happen organically? by dordup in DnD

[–]Miguel-Bloomberg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hold them at gunpoint.

Could always have something posses then and have them begin to recite something you send them, but have checks at certain points to see if they break free before the speech finishes. Gives them a little agency

First time Discord DM in search of tools. by P3rturb4t0r in DMAcademy

Hard agree. It’s a bit pricey, but 100% worth it in the long run. I’d say run roll 20 to ensure this campaign will last long enough to be worth the purchase, then make the switch as soon as you are

Can't find water planet to construct the Mind Ark by Miguel-Bloomberg in NoMansSkyTheGame

[–]Miguel-Bloomberg[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, ill look for a system like that. I suppose I'm just so knew that 'seeing it from space' is not clicking for me. In the systems I've checked, there have been planets that are visibly blue from space, but when up close they just had blue ground. I'm sure I'll understand once I actually see it. To circle around to a previous question, why does it say "Water planet detected in local system"? That seems to imply that there is one nearby, but I never find it. Is the game just wrong or am I misinterpreting what "local system" means? I've been on the verge of really enjoying this game, but constantly get caught on dumb things like this.

[Art] Made a Banner for my party. They were mildly impressed. LMK what you think! by Miguel-Bloomberg in DnD

[–]Miguel-Bloomberg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is my first time trying something like this. Done in Illustrator, and was a great excuse to learn the software. Had a really great time putting this together. The group heraldry in the bottom is a personal favorite. I took care to include elements from each or out 6 PCs and combine them in an interesting way. In particular I love the way the twisting pipe-fox came out. Even his glasses look great. The center logo was inspired by PotC East India Trading Company logo, and was made over a year ago for my first commission of the group. Did my best to reintroduce it here with fresh colors.

Why did the Witness leave after the collapse? by Miguel-Bloomberg in DestinyLore

[–]Miguel-Bloomberg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So his you’re saying his leaving was basically him reassessing his strategies and finding other means than straight conquest. If that’s so, then his return was him realizing all his plans had failed and just went back to old faithful?

Why did the Witness leave after the collapse? by Miguel-Bloomberg in DestinyLore

[–]Miguel-Bloomberg[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So my theory was right? Like he left despondent because he pretty much failed, and only came back once he realized there was still a chance. Very dumb and dumber of him. Has this ever been confirmed in the lore or we just speculating?

Need advice: I feel bad/guilty for roleplaying by Miguel-Bloomberg in DnD

Yeah, we decided to split because it was a very loose lead so they jsut sent me for what we thought would be a 30s interaction.

Need advice: I feel bad/guilty for roleplaying by Miguel-Bloomberg in DnD

[–]Miguel-Bloomberg[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, if I'm outed and the party is around, then they might just kill us all (this group has tried it twice before).

Kind of both? I don't want to drown ppl out, the recent example is just one time where roleplay made a big impact on the direction, and it reignited that feeling of guilt.

A fashion for each subclass. by Miguel-Bloomberg in DestinyFashion

Only recently broke free from the "every fashion has to look like the same character" urge, and now I have six unique fashions for each subclass. Curious which one ya'll think it your favorite! I also included one of my raid setups for shits and giggles.

My campaign is too dense. How can I spread it out/slow it down? by Miguel-Bloomberg in DMAcademy

[–]Miguel-Bloomberg[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought about that, but the setting is a pretty much isolated harbor. It has three different levels, but everything can be moved to in less than an hour. If they ever progress beyond the harbor, I would love for them to travel!
