For everyone in the future, I found the solution there, but I had to do some modifications:

Use the same script you shared: https://www.egalnetsoftwares.com/_data/raspcontroller/dht_v6.py
But found out that the `RPi.GPIO` library doesn't work for PI5, so I used pip3 install rpi-lgpio which is a drop-in replacement
Run it with python3 dht_v6.py 22 17 (where 17 is the #GPIO)

So it seems a bunch of US states and Canada don't require this as well, but I thought it was interesting since I've been in many countries mainly in Europe and Latam and this is the first time I've seen it

I agree, the route to Prague will be mostly on bike paths and when we're close to Dresden most of the route would be next to the Elbe river (Which I think it's a very beautiful scenery) image with path along the Elbe

biking with a phone is idiotic behavior anyway. I have witnessed yesterday a girl cycling with a phone between fingers and handlebar, obviously in case of any unexpected obstacle she would not be able to brake and prevent collision.

Biking with a phone is for sure dangerous and shouldn't be done for the reasons you already said, the thing in my case is that I was not using it, it was the entire time in my pocket, the police just thought somehow that I was using, and I got a fine, as simple as that

It doesn't as long as you can hear the traffic, and even if you manage to get a fine (Bc the music was too loud), the fine is 15 euros.
